The trailer came out yesterday. I recognize the characters but was expecting them to be older.

Hmmm.  I’ll probably wait for this to hit streaming. It looks somewhat interesting but not something I have to see.

Coming to this as a comic fan, with a base knowledge of these characters

-this movie is going to blow. It will fail spectacularly.

Apparently, the lowest grossing MCU so far is Marvels. I won't see Madame Web in the theater. This is more of a "sit on my couch on a Friday night with pizza" movie.

Sony is going to fall right on top of Marvel's dying corpse with this one, putting even more bad taste in the mouths of non-comic book fans, when it comes to these movies

the ONLY reason I may... MAY watch this when it hits my television, is for Sydney Sweeny. She was one of my (many) favorite parts with White Lotus and I will watch it for her, just to see what she does with the role
