AXE Eternals #1 - I get it now. Three one shots named after each group but focusing on one person.  This one was Ajak.  Setting up a twist for the end I think.

AXE Iron Fist #1 - Basically a tease to get you interested in the new Iron Fist.  Didn’t work for me.  He’s the next generations hero.

Okay, I have been slack on my posting here for far too long. That being the case, I am combining last week to this weeks list to get them off my mental list
 Cheesy Cheesy
I did take off the Morrison Batman stuff as I need to get back on my BPRD/Mignola Universe stuff before I head down yet another path.

X-Men (Old and New) - Good Vault stuff. Love the idea of that "team" so much that I may go back and read the other arc that Jeff read recently.

Ant-Man - A decent mini showcasing the Ant-MEN  Smiley Art was nice, different, but not by who I had thought it was. And that is fine as I liked this style as well

Strange - Meh, its fine, but I am growing weary of this title/idea already. Love Clea, Love Wong and certainly love Bats the (dead) dog, but... maybe it was just a case of wrong book for the wrong mood I was in?

Cap - Speaking of "hoping it was just the mood"... this issue left me cold and I don't know why. I may have to reread this as I am sitting here... thinking back on why I didn't really enjoy this, but I'll be damned if I can articulate or remember why I feel that way. Maybe I read it when I was too damn tired (something I've been for what feels like a month) so, yeah, maybe I try this again

Danger Street - A huge amount of stuffy going on, but it worked... even with the characters/teams I know nothing to very little about. Saw plenty of Warlord and Metamorpho, but I want more!!!  Grin

Batman Superman World's Finest #11... LOVE the variant covers with PG and Huntress
Nightwing #100... one of the few series that I am still trying to complete, but I don't need all 13 variants.

I flipped through Wasp #1. Gonna pass and get it online.

A.X.E.: Death to the Mutants #3 - Mixed on this one.  Drags a lot but then some parts are good.  Important ending though.

Captain Marvel #42 - AXE TIE-IN - Really? A whole issue for Progenitor to judge….Carol’s cat?

Fantastic Four #48 - AXE TIE-IN - Ugh. That was awful.  Sappy drivel with a formulaic end.

Immortal X-Men #7 - AXE Tie-In - Now THAT was AWESOME! This is how every issue of this event should have been! Now I’m actually excited about seeing how this ends!

Legion of X #6 - AXE TIE-IN - Meh. Legions turn to be judged.  Another meaningless tale that didn’t really interest me much.

Wolverine #25 - AXE TIE-IN - Would have been an ok story if not for the looming celestial tie in.  That just made me weary.

X-Force #32 - AXE TIE-IN - Much better story. Than the Wolverine issue.  All the plot threads come together as Kraven (who I normally dislike) makes his big move.

For my tastes this week:

MARVEL UNLIMITED

Ghost Rider 7 - I truly don't know where this book is going, but man, I'm enjoying the full ride of it.
Amazing Spider-man 11 - I'm...just super curious about all this, just really wish it was't JRJr's art at all.
Daredevil 4 - Still, I think, one of the very best Marvel titles all around
Immortal X-men 7 - yeah! A really good book! Keep a mega story tight like this, and it really is worthwhile!!
New Fantastic Four 5 - Better off not having read this, honestly
Captain America: Steve 5 - well THAT escalated quickly!!
Jane Foster & Mighty Thor 5 - Yeah, like New FF...heck, I didn't even "read" the last 2 issues here. I just flipped through and kinda got the gist of a boring story

DC ULTRA

Batman v Robin 4 - I dug it. I liked it. Not amazing for big over the top 'event' books, but not bad either!
World's Finest 10 - SO AWESOME. So cool and twisty!!! LOVED IT
Dark Crisis 7 - as I said elsewhere's the 7 issues could have been served better by removing some of the chaff around issues 3-5 (which felt the weakest), and heightened the ending/exit of the series. It was fine, but like, no resonance. I've reread Infinite Crisis at least 2 twice, and Final Crisis? I bought the mega hardcover trade of that, and I LOVE THAT. This Crisis was tacked on too quickly after Metal/Dark Metal, and just felt...unnecessary (more so than they usually are! Cheesy )
Nightwing 99 - Taylor and Renato are awesome. never leave this book!
Stargirl Lost Chidlren 3 - Geoff Johns is making me smile again reading his comics. Been a while for that!!
Flash 789 - Man, Wally is just such a presence...and like Dick Grayson, just changes events and people for being him. Good writing!

And I truly wish I could be there with you. I just can't do the writer. Art looks neat, good for the character (covers ALWAYS make me want to open the book again), but...
Maybe when I read Wolverine #26, because Ryp is doing the art, I will be more in-tune with Percy and his style of writing, maybe, so perhaps I can check back in with GR. Of course I could end up throwing my hands up in the air, regretting my effort again and walking away from Percy forever this time.
 Cheesy
But I have to try that one issue

Captain America: Steve 5 - well THAT escalated quickly!!

Indeed. Still not sure how I felt about it  Undecided

Immortal X - An okay issue that was bogged down a tad by AXE, yet had a good historic moment of the past. Loved the here is my first million part

Ka-Zar - I still pronounce this as KAY-zar (even while knowing it is incorrect) but only as it sounds so much better to my ears the KUH-zar but no idea why I read this. I guess I saw the series was recently added, remember Big Daddy Buscema was on the title for some issues and I wanted to see his stuff. I got what I needed
 Grin

Abe - Just harder for me to read this off-shoot than my BPRD. No idea why Well... some idea... but yeah, looking forward to finishing so I can get back to the team book

Right on  Cool
I will say the only book that I really want to get through, want to add to my monthly read, but can't due to the art, is Moon Knight. Love the character and while I am not an uber fan of the writing on this particular title (which is odd because I usually don't mind the writer) I can't get past the totally flatness of angularity of the artwork. Heck, I remember when the artist forgot to draw a freaking nose on Tigra!!! I mean a nose?
