Work has been hectic with overtime and I am not reading as much as I would like.

Batman #131.... from last week. I didn't pick up my pull
Batman Incorporated #4... except for Clownhunter, I really enjoy these characters.

Ironically after complaining last week about the boringness of the Marvel stuff, this week I enjoyed all 4 issues that dropped.

AXE Starfox #1 - Well that was actually a decent story and probably necessary to read for the full story.  The art was terrible but it can be overlooked.  A nice surprise.

AXE X-Men #1 - Wow. Two good ones in a row!  Is this event back on an upswing?  Both of these were written by Gillen.  That maybe the magic ingredient.

Ant-Man #4 - That was one trippy trip through Ant Man history and future.  I liked it.  I don’t know why, but I did!  Looking forward to Ewings Wasp book next.

X-Men Red #7 - Good wrap up to this arc.  Not a lot of action but a close out of some storylines and sets up for new stories to come.

X-Men (2004) #188-190 - It’s all coming back to me now.  I remember this arc and I know why i probably forgot it.  This is where I was introduced to Bachalo’s art and why I hated it.  I’ve grown to like it in Jason Aaron’s Doctor Strange but back in the day on the X-Men? Uh huh. No way!  But I liked Mike Carey’s run and this was a good arc.  These first three issues (of six) have kicked off the story with a lot of punch and plenty of bang. We should be learning the villains secrets in the next issue!

X-Men #18 & 19 - Wow! This reread was SO MUCH MORE POWERFUL after reading the Mike Carey Children of the Vault stories!  I love this story even more now.  I really think this was my favorite story of the entire Hickman run.  Just great.

Quick change here.  You need to include issue #1 & #5 before 18 & 19.  It sets things up for these two. (A brief appearance by Serafina in issue one. A complete Vault story in issue five.) When I realized I went back and reread those two issues. My statement still stands: best story of the Hickman run.

Batman vs Robin 1-3 - I hate magic in a Batman story and I’m not a fan of this villain, but I’m enjoying this story for the most part.  That is, as long as they don’t drag it out.  I’m hoping next issue is the wrap up.  It’s been fun seeing characters like Cain and Abel.

Dark Knights of Steel: The Gathering Storm #1 - Deleted this one.  I didn’t realize it’s just a reprint of issues 1-3.

The Silver Coin Vol 3 - Collects issues 11-15

DCeased: War of the Undead Gods #1-4 - This is it. The final mini.  So far it is pretty good.  Lots of New Gods as the virus spreads into the universe.  Thumbs up.

Wonder Woman Historia: The Amazons #2 - Excellent history of the Amazons rise. And the art is stunning.  Next issue war with the gods.  I can’t wait to see how that’s painted.

Danger Street #1 - Damn! Tom King can write a compelling tale!  I don’t even know where to start on talking about this one! Great cast! Great tension! Great mystery! When does issue 2 come out?!?!?!?

“If I could go back in time and like tell 11 year old me that like not only do you get to go to Comic Con but you go every year.  So much so that you get greeted by Stan Lee when you show up.  And 11 year old me would be like - How did we get so fat?”- Kevin Smith

I have been debating on the latest DCeased series. Is it any good?
