Primordial #3 - While I am still waiting for the third issue of Lemire's Dark Horse Mazebook to drop in price, I am happy that Image drops the price of the previous issue after that new issue hits. "A dollar saved is..." and all that  Grin
As for this title, I do like this book, I do, but having said that I am a little... what is the word... frustrated(?) at where we are in the story after three issues. I wouldn't mind the outlined pacing and structure if this was an ongoing or a 12 issue mini-series, but as this story now has a were two more issues to wrap up, I worry if we are going to get a fade out story with little resolve or, worse, one that is too jammed and unable to breath in the final two issues. I have faith in Lemire, so I am sure I am worried for nothing
 Grin

Nailbiter 4 and 5 - Cops doing stupid shit in this issue aside (a personal pet peeve of mine), I am enjoying this trip down memory lane. Having read the first ten or so issues when it first came out all those years ago, I still find I remember little about this story until I turn a page and get hit with that "Oh Yeah" feeling.

The Nice House on the Lake #1 - Interesting first issue.  It’s like Big Brother at armageddon.  I can see this going real good or real bad.  But Tynion doesn’t usually disappoint so I’m in for another issue.

Batman/Catwoman #5 - I’m starting to wonder where this is going.  I’m not seeing an endgame yet.  The journey is still fun though.  Another good issue.

Justice League #62 - JL Dark backstory only - wrapping up the journey in the library while the search for Merlin continues.  Still enjoying this and wish it was a whole book instead of just a backup story.

Suicide Squad #4 - the wrap up to the crossover. Red X is interesting and I’m looking forward to the identity reveal.  Also looking forward to a non crossover issue of this comic.

Crime Syndicate #4 - focus on the Emerald Knight.  I enjoyed this issue. Guess I’m getting used to this version of the Crime Syndicate.

Batman #109 - Loved the Ghost Maker / Harley stuff this issue.  Batman’s first fight with Peace Maker 01 too.  Good book still.

Batman/Catwoman #5 - I’m starting to wonder where this is going.

Not being a King apologist, but I truly feel to get the best out of King you almost have to read it collected. I have heard mixed things about this series (like most recent King stuff), but most of the bad I hear is stuff that I think... I think... could be received a little better if they didn't read it month to month. And I could be (probably am) way off on that, but I do know that as much as I so very badly want to read this, I am not going near it until issue 11 hits DCI.

Onto my list...

Justice League: Last ride - This is okay. It's fine, but I think I am going to bail. Like Jeff has suggested or mentioned with his reading, I think I am going to try and keep to comics I feel a little stronger about and not just read stuff to read stuff. There is nothing overly bad here, but it is also, so far, to me, just another JL story that I can read down the road. Maybe I am wrong and I will come back sooner? Perhaps.

Nice House on the Lake - Man, this one... interesting story that I thought may be something else at first, even though I knew already it wasn't. Ha. That said, I will say that I enjoyed it, a good bit, but I also think I may wait on this until at least the creative team comes back from there break in March.

Magic Order - Just found out that Mark Millar's Magic Order volume two is out and as I really liked that damn mini and had been waiting for its return, I just had to do a reread of the first arc. So glad I did as I had forgotten so damn much about this grand little title. Sadly, different artist on volume two (No Olivier Coipel), but hey, when Stuart Immonen is the fallback guy, I think I can deal with that.  Smiley

Firepower - Honestly, just meh. I've tried and tried. I had already grabbed the first 12 issues of this series because when it was first coming out I thought, "Hey, Hickman doing an Iron Fist like character? Sign me up", but I just can't get into this. Maybe it is the art... or coloring or writing  (Grin really Perry? Maybe it is one of those?), but I am not getting pulled in and as I am trying to spend my time more wisely, this title is on the chopping block with its future being determined by the last issue I have, that #12.
Jeff, are you still on this? Just curious (I guess I could go look... hahaha, Okay, maybe I will do that)

Firepower - "Hey, Hickman doing an Iron Fist like character? Sign me up"

I’d sign up for that too! But as I know you really know, this is Kirkman.   Cheesy

But I do agree with you that I’m also done after issue 12.  It’s been a fairly fun book but it’s getting repetitive.

Man-Bat #5 - Final issue.  Bummer that this wasn’t better. Good to know how Man-Bat wound up on the JL Dark but the story itself was kind of boring. I can’t really recommend.

Titans United #4 - Good issue!  Reminds me so much of the Titans of old and how much fun their stories were.  Pleasant surprise these days.

Detective Comics #1037 - Still enjoying the main story.  Didn’t care for either of the two backup stories this time.  But looking forward to this mystery’s end.

Justice League: Last Ride #2 - A nice slow interlude that fills us in on a some history in this alternate world story.  I like it so far.

Joker #4 - Ahhh. The inevitable confrontation…but not exactly.  Good issue and interesting character developments.

Batman: The Detective #3 - I didn’t care for the trip down memory lane. It wasted too much of the book.  But the present day story is starting back up and hopefully that’s where next issue will stay.
