Wolverine #10
Way of X #3
- Putting these together in the discussion section as they both have the same summery. I tried to read them, I did, but I care so little for anything going on with this "Gala" that I ended up just flipping through all the pages. I am sure I missed some important information, but as Way of X is gone in another issue (from what I gather) and I only read Wolverine to stay somewhat connected, I just didn't have the "gumption" to read these two. I amy go back and read Wolverine, maybe, if Jeff or Jimmy (or anyone!) tells me it is worth a read or can at least say I missed something important, but for now ... meh.

X-Men Unlimited / ALL MU Unlimited titles - I can't do this. I really wanted to read this X stuff and I had extremely high hopes for both the Moon Knight and Spider-Man Unlimited series as well, but I can't read comics in this "falling down an elevator shaft" style. It is ridiculous. I have to keep F'n scrolling the entire time? And okay, sure, maybe there is a way to set it so it does it on its own and I can just sit back and read as we go, but I still hate it. This is not for me. I'm done with ALL of these type of titles!

Doctor Strange #10 - Man, reading these older comics you can really see, especially in Steven and Tony, a true shithead way of treating women. Ahhh, the good old days!  Wink Here the good Doc tries to bargain with Eternity to save the Earth as the being believes we have no direction (for some reason Eternity cares? Ha). Strange actually merges with Eternity, and with Gene Colan's art it looks fantastic, and that was cool, but there is no fight with Mordo. Strange actually helps him. Cover is kind of misleading AF
 Cheesy
But back to Colan quickly, I think Gene Colan was the perfect choice for a few titles. I know he gets praise for his DD run and while I enjoy it, I personally don't think it was a perfect match. It was good, but yeah, not superb. But Gene on Dr. Strange? Hell yeah.
Doctor Strange, Dracula, Batman and Night Force are THE four perfect titles for Gene Colan. And while he drew Man-Thing a couple times in Howard the Duck, the two titles I think editors missed, two huge opportunities for the title and Colan (and the editor for putting them together) was Swamp-Thing for DC and Ghost Rider for Marvel. Man that would have been cool!!

Fantastic Four #164 - FIRST PEREZ FANTASTIC FOUR !!! Hell yeah. Also, as you can see, by the Kirby cover (not Perez sadly), The Crusader appears. The same Crusader that will soon be known as Quasar, but then later will return to being Crusader, a totally different, yet in the end, the same character. All of that and more happens in the Jimmy Woo lead Agents of Atlas. Available in digital on most all devices NOW!  Grin (Actually a good retcon, really). Not only do we get a Human Torch/Crusader fight, early on we get a glimpse that Sue is indeed getting more powerful. That is always good for me. I think she is one of the most powerful characters in comics! Yep, I said, I meant it. And when she is drawn by Perez ... there is no doubt in my mind that this era of FF is why I became such a fan.

Snow Angels Season Two #4 - Arrgh! This comic seems so short! But it’s not! And I want to see what happens next!

Something is Killing the Children #19 - my favorite book continues with Erica Slaughters origin. The test comes to end and reveals what happened at her mother’s death. Excellent!

That Texas Blood #9 - this mystery just gets more and more interesting. Meet some new characters and wonder what they have to do with this. Plus a break!

Detective Comics #1034 - Well, I was wrong. Not Williamson's first issue. Not sure what I thought I saw, but nope. I will say this, before I stepped away from them, I noticed in one of the main Bat books, can't remember what title or what issues, that they had begun using a lot of red and orange hues. It is very prominent here in this issue and it ruins Batman for me. I don't like it. Batman/GOtham should not be colored in orange or red or any combination of that. If the same colorist stays on this title, I will not come back to read the Fear arc that I really want to read
 Undecided

Legion '89 #8 - Okay, lots of fun and the Lobo... thing... resolved itself in this issue so that is good (man I didn't like that at all). More info into a couple of our "heroes", which is always a good thing and a major baddie is shown setting up a move that will play out later. Enjoying this again!!!
