Yup! I'm making Monday (and now part of Tuesday) night my comic reading night!

I read:

Batman 71-75; The fall and the fallen, leading into City of Bane. Wha...wha...huh? Mike Janin art, back to Tony Daniels' art ; BOTH GORGEOUS!!

X-men 20 cover, with Nimrod-EXCELLENT ART: I loved the story alot too!

Beta Ray Bill 3; what a goofy mini that I'm really enjoying

Black Panther 25: Coates last issue, the culmination of BP in Space; okay glad it's over, can I have a BP comic to read again?

Maestro 5: Great ending! Great series! Another whole mini to fill out the 'trilogy' of Maestro minis? SUH-WEEEET!!

Shang Chi; Legend of, and now vs Marvel U #1 each; Not digging it. I'm out

Iron Fist #1 by Larry Hama; all the old series by Brubaker and Faction story points are here! That's great!!!

And with THAT

I am up to ONE title in Unlimited; just gotta finish that Iron Fist mini! Then, the only thing sitting in My Library, is Avengers 84, from when I had decided to read it from issue 1 on until the 80s hit! I got a long way to go!!!

I know right!  I returned to the office this week after a year and a half of working from home because of Covid.  It’s got me all out of whack in my routines!

Batman 76-85 : Wow. City of Bane. It was....okay, I'm going to go find the thread and read it, but I really...loved reading it in one sitting. I love the Cat Bat love story. It gives me the feels. So good!

Stray Bullets Vol 1: Sunshine & Roses (Collects issues #1-8) - Back to the early 80’s and we get to see how Beth, Orson, and Nina wound up on the run.  Great characters and love seeing how they develop.

Seven to Eternity #5-9 (REREAD) - Awesome 2nd arc!  I’m so glad I’m rereading this.  I had forgotten how good it is and the fall of our hero is tragic to watch.  Will he crawl back up? Only time will tell - and perhaps the next arc!

Stillwater #9 - This was a good issue.  Some long over due butt whipping in this one.  Plus kids!

Geiger #5 - Hitting lots of good ones tonight!  Excellent issue as our hero and kids wind up at NORAD and we get our first glimpse at what’s left of the government.  Are they good or are they bad? A little bit of both might be the answer.

Serial #5 & 6 - Man, brutal subject matter.  Great two issues here.  Really twists the emotions.  Terry Moore is still knocking it out of the park with his story telling.  I am a little confused on one thing though.  Has a lot of time passed between issue 5 & 6?  I only ask because of the dog Zeus.  Is that the same puppy from issue 5 or did the Mom survive?

Fire Power #14 - I’m with Indiana Jones; I hate snakes! And our heroes will to after this issue.  Great jumping on point as we start a whole new arc. Well, technically it started last issue but still so good!

Hey Kids! Comics! Prophets & Losses #4 - 1965.  And all the things in the workplace that would send you to jail today.  Hard to believe people really acted this way even back then.  But who knows.  Still makes for an interesting story.

Tales From Harrow County #1 - So this was fun.  Fun to be back in this world again with these characters.  This new story wasted no time getting moving and I’m happy for it.  It’s Bernice centric and adventure is on its way.  Issue 1 gets my seal of approval.

The Unbelievable Unteens #1 - How ironic.  This has the original artist from Harrow County!  I like the start of this.  Sort of a reverse Black Hammer story.  Definitely going to enjoy this X-Men knock off.

BETA RAY BILL #3 - Yikes! That ending looks bad! Bad for our team I mean!  This issue was good. The interactions between Bill and Skutt were well done.  And Skurge just makes me laugh.

BLACK WIDOW #7 Ewww! We’ll that was gross!  But I do like the girl power team.  Thumbs up.

MAESTRO: WAR AND PAX #5 - Great ending!  Maestro vs Doom!  Excellent wrap up to the story.

X-MEN #20 - Excellent issue!  Man I wish this came out twice a month.  Sooooo hard waiting!!

Future State: Aquaman #2 - good ending to a good book. Really like Aquawoman!

Future State: Batman/Superman #2 - not bad, not great. Professor Pyg as a villain is always creepy.

Future State: Dark Detective #4 - I liked the Batman story.  The Red Hood one was just ok.

Future State: House of El #1 - This was entertaining.  I wish it had more than one issue instead of some of the others!

I read

The Power of Shazam! (tpb) 1985. Jerry Ordway's reintroduction of the character after COIE

The Power of Shazam: the ongoing, 6 months later, I believe, issues 1-6 of 48!

HEY NOW!!!

There's a 3rd vol of 'The Fix!' 50% off, only $6.49! But, if I check the issues....99 cents apiece, with tax, that 'vol' only costs $4.18....

Seriously, who buys the traded digital copies?! The issues are always so much cheaper!! The next 2 volumes I want of Black Hammer, again, way cheaper to do the individual issues!!!
