The Visitor #5 - I went ahead and re-read #1-4 but turns out I didn't need to since they put a full page catch up on the first page of issue #5.  Still glad I did it as it this was much better reading all at once.  I wasn't really that thrilled with it the first time I read it.  Next issue is the last issue of this mini and it should wind up as a nice little story.

Rorschach #9 - Another good issue leading us up to the end.  We get more background to the two "assassins'" in the hours leading up to their attempt from the first issue.  Looking forward to how this all wrap's up.

Black Hammer: Visions #5 - Another good Visions issue!  Nice Skulldigger tale and a villain much like Black Cat (or Catwoman).  Thumbs up!

Birthright #49 - Nice wrap up to the missing parents storyline.  Only one issue left and it looks like we'll get a nice final battle with one of the side villains.

Injustice Gods Among Us: Year Four #1-4 - So Year Four is going to concentrate on the greek gods and what they think of the new tyrannical world Super-Man has installed.  And of course, there's still Team Batman out there....

It's kinda "meh". The Batman/Catwoman series is more interesting.

The Amazing Spider-Man #57-60 - Wrap up to the Kindred story and setting up the new world order for...the next Kindred story!  Or something even more exciting with a certain demon showing up at the end!

Captain Marvel (1973) #28-30 - More Starlin and Thanos fun.  Also get to see the changes in Mar-Vell which brings about his cosmic awareness.  Plus the origin of Eon!  I'm enjoying this journey down '70's lane and it's actually pretty cool getting to see how some of the things that inspired the Marvel movies got their real beginnings.

Captain Marvel (2021) #25 & 26 - Wrap up to the adventure in the future which will spin off Carol's next adventure here in the present.  Good story and fun characters.  This new villain could be interesting coming up.....or really lame.  We will soon find out!

Marvel Snapshots: Captain Marvel #1 - Too preachy at times but nice seeing Captain Marvel and Ms Marvel helping out a teen struggling with who she is and who she's going to be.  I've got one of those of my own.

Just knocked off the last Starlin Capt Marvel.

Captain Marvel #34 - Actually pretty good and liked the villain, Nitro, a lot more in this issue (his first appearance?) than I have in the past, seeing him elsewhere. Except of course for when he was responsible for the kickoff of one of Marvel's finest events, Civil War

Thor #12 - More Donald Blake madness and a twist ending that promises a big battle coming!

Spider-Woman #9 - I don't know why I'm so sucked into this comic but I am.  Clones, Hydra, and High Evolutionary - oh my!

Black Widow #5 - Ugh.  Even though the story itself was pretty good, I don't like where they are taking Black Widow.  This new development brings her character down I'm afraid.

U.S. Agent #3 - Ah John Walker.  Will you ever learn?  Liked seeing his side kick in this issue.  Not sure what to think of the villain reveal.  Other than....this is cool.

King in Black: Thunderbolts #3 - Well that's over.  I had heard this was good so maybe my expectations were too high.  It didn't meet my expectations by a longshot.   Undecided

Jupiter’s Legacy TPB Vol 1 (Collects Jupiter’s Circle #1-6) - reading this just makes me more bummed out that the Netflix series got cancelled.  So many good stories to be told that we won't get to see.  These were some great stories from the early days of the Union.  Fun reading this in chronological order.  Seeing these characters grow old is going to be very compelling.

Pride of Baghdad GN - The art in this book is absolutely amazing.  It's the story of 4 lions who escape from a zoo during a military attack on Baghdad.  All from their point of view.  Thumbs way up on this book.

Star Wars: Bounty Hunters #9 - I’m bored.  I thought this would have a lot more Boba Fett but it’s about a comic only character named Valance.  I’m done.

Captain Marvel (1973) #31-34 - Fun finish to the first Thanos vs Captain Marvel storyline.  First appearance of Drax as well as some other characters we all know and love now.  I always thought Starlin had a longer run on Captain Marvel but I've enjoyed reading these and getting context to all that has happened with Thanos in current day.

Jupiter's Circle Vol 2 #1-6 - Glad to be re-reading these.  Seeing the history before the official Jupiter's Legacy mini is very interesting.  Looking forward to starting the original next as it should match up with the Netflix series.

Not blasting through a lot this week, even with an hour wait for the doc.

Injustice: Gods Among Us #26
- Art is really trying my patience now, and it is odd how each issue is a different artist (of the three or four they have rotating) as again, it takes three of these digital issues to produce the print version the put out, so I find it odd they don't have one artist do a three issue run and then rotate from there instead of 8 pages or so at a time. Still on board, don't get me wrong, but man, Googe's art (something I use to semi-enjoy on Wildstorm stuff) is really rough for these old eyes now. Maybe it is the same for him
 Grin

MU

Immortal Hulk #26
Immortal Hulk #27
Immortal Hulk #28
Immortal Hulk #29
- This reread has been so much fun and I am enjoying this title, one I really liked originally, so much more this time around. Can't wait for next issue's Zemnu confrontation as I really, really, loved that issue the first time. I also see, coming up, I have a Tom Taylor Immortal Hulk one shot coming up called "Great Power" It hits after  Immortal Hulk #30, but it takes place after Immortal Hulk #14. I find that somewhat odd that MU would not slide it in that spot in my read through.  Undecided

Wolverine #10 - Speaking of bad art ... Ugh ... I hate Adam Kumbert's art. I look over at DC and see how fun and dynamic his brother Andy's stuff looks (With energy his dad would be proud of) and here, in this, I just see bad, sketchy figures with boring, bland ass panels. And now he is trying to add a Deodato style to his repertoire and ... oh boy. I'm trying to stay on this as I do like Wolverine, but between the art and the writing, I think I will only last up to issue #12  Undecided

Doctor Strange #1 (1974)
Doctor Strange #2 (1974)
Doctor Strange #3 (1974)
- Reading this after Captain Marvel may have helped my enjoyment of this run, at least for the start of it as it sets my brain into the crazy mid-seventies "hey, explore any ideas" magic.
In an effort to save his beloved Clea from the clutches of the Silver Dagger (a villain I honestly had wrong my entire life ... I didn't know his goal was to purge demons from people, I thought ... ya know ... I don't know what I use to think his "thing" was  Cheesy), Doc enters the Orb of Agamotto and in doing so trips his mo-fo mind all to pieces.  Grin Strange enters the "Unreality" and finds *ahem* a talking caterpillar (explained in the pages) as well as some familiar figures that are ... not so familiar. Issue #3 is kind of a cheat as it only has two or three pages of the continuing story and throws a Lee/Ditko reprint in as most of the meat. Sneaky thing actually because if you just flipped to the first or last page, you would not have known you bought a reprint.
