Decent haul this week and can't wait to relax with a beer and a comic.

Batman the Detective #2
DC Festival of Heroes #1
Future State: Gotham #1... curious about Red Hood and love that it's black & white.
Heroes Reborn #2
Hyperion and the Imperial Guard #1
Joker #3
Justice League: Last Ride #1... I don't recall asking to add this but I'll give it a try.
Spider-Woman #12
Superman #31

I think I am going to read that X-Corp #1 as well, just to see what's up, see if it will make it onto the MU pull. Part of me hopes not as I kinda like only having those three or four X-related titles to go through each month (not overly excited about adding more ... again ... after just adding that Way of X), but I am also kind of curious about reading a book based on the financial and corporate side of the Mutant's new livelihood. Ha, I bet Claremont is scratching his head on this one.

Oh and Jeff, after your recent completion of a certain new Netflix show, will you list be changing this week?

What did you think? I really like the new status quo starting with #101. And the Joker series is oddly refreshing.

Haven’t got to it yet. I’m still working through those Spidey issues.  But I’ll let you know once I get to them.

The Amazing Spider-Man #49-56 - Had to add issue 56 since it was the last issue of the arc.  Mind blowing story here.  Even with all the answers that came we’re left with all new questions!  And Pete has a new reason to want answers! I’m fascinated by what has happened and I’m looking forward to the next arc!

Epic end to year one with the big battle between Super-Man and Batman.  Lots of death and betrayal.  Of course the war isn’t over yet and just got me pumped for reading Year Two!

Batman #93 & 94 - Allright - the wrap up to the Designer story ended a lot better than the start of this arc.  And leads into the Joker War with a pretty Big Bang.  I surprisingly liked this.  Looking forward to getting through the Joker War starting in the next issue!

Finally got to some reading last night, in-between bouts of pain ... but luckily it made my Hulk reading more realistic .
PERRY SMASH ... as long as I don't have to walk over to you to do it!
 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I tried reading the new Star Wars  series ... that new pre-prequal stuff that hit MU a couple months ago, and maybe I will get back to it one day, but I was not in the mood for it last night. Read about 4 or 5 pages and then removed it from my Downloads, to make room for another Hulk issue.

It has been so damn fun rereading this Immortal Hulk run. So much better getting it without the wait, without the memory loss that comes from monthly reading for me
 Undecided

Anywho ... hoping to get a couple more in tonight and tomorrow, but this may be it for this week ...

Immortal Hulk #14
Immortal Hulk #15
Immortal Hulk #16
Immortal Hulk #17
Immortal Hulk #18
Immortal Hulk #19
- Ewing is just so damn good on this title. Bringing in aspects of the Hulk lore is one thing, but the way he is timing who to bring in and when to do it is so darn cool. I don't usually post the cover shots of current or recent comic issues that I have just read, but the cover of issue #19, which showcases the reimaged Abomination (I assume reimagined by series artist Joe Bennet?), is just spectacular and deserves more light shone on it's visage. But hey, having the amazing Alex Ross do a cover with said 'abominable' creation didn't hurt. Sales either I bet as this cover had to pull people in. Right?

Fantastic Four #130 (1973) - Finally out of 1972 with the FF and as we enter the new year, the FF is (once again) torn asunder as Sue finally tells Reed to stop ignoring her or she is out! And then she proceeds to walk away and yeah ... leaves the group. The thing is ... not THE Thing ...  Cheesy the thing is that this time she 'balls up' and is shown more as an intelligent woman, one who is not just a shadow reflection of her husband, but as a person that can (and should) cast her own damn shadow. She walks away with purpose and determination. And yes there are tears, these are tears of sadness having to make the call, not of worry if she is doing the right thing ... again, not THAT Thing  Grin.
Glad to see this, this bold woman stance, although there may actually be more here than meets the eye me thinks as Reed is pretty set on allowing her to leave.
We also see that the great Jim Steranko goes into that large list I have of people that can't draw the Thing! And yes, this time I mean that Thing
Cheesy

Actually turned out to be a good Joker story.  I like the Jokers new side kick Punchline and the conflict with Harley was a lot of fun to read as well.  It made me like the Batman series again also I’m back on board for the new direction.
