Finished all of X of Swords. Blah. Bah'n'Feh. I'd be hugely pissed if I collected individual X men issues with this malarky.

What's this?  I read comics this week!!   Shocked

Green Lantern: Blackstars #1-3 - This was a fun diversion into what Mr Morriosn can do with the cosmic world of Green Lantern.  A whole universe under the thumb of the Blackstars with Hal Jordan in the thick of it.  I really liked this and I'm looking forward to reading Season 2!

Barbalien: Red Planet #3 - Not a great Black Hammer universe book sadly.  I'll finish out the mini but I'll be glad when it's over.

Colonel Weird: Cosmogag #4 - Great ending!  This one I really enjoyed and I'm hoping for more Colonel Weird adventures!

Skulldigger and Skeleton Boy #6 - And another great ending!  We got two home run BH series.  Glad this is the norm.

Department of Truth #5 - Hmmm.  So I liked this issue.  I was thinking of dropping this after issues 3 & 4 but this has issue started giving us answers which of course comes with more questions.  I know Perry was losing interest but I bet its because he read issues 3, 4, & 5 at the same time?  I'll see where issue 6 goes.

Fantastic Four #25 - interesting kickoff to the new status quo and the creation of something that will likely lead to many adventures.

Fantastic Four #26 - Yes! This was good.  Where the last issue seemed to close out the past and kickoff a new start, this issues jump into that new world was the fun issue.  Iím onboard this arc and looking forward to the Fantastic Four again!

So Rodney, how was that Suicide Squad #1? I know you didn't like or dive into the last incarnation, so wondering how this one hit for ya
 Smiley

Finished all of X of Swords.

And you didn't Polo me about the Wolverine Cat Walk shit?
WTF?

I DID know that that was what you were referring to so long ago when you hinted though! Lol

I thoroughly lost my $#!* over that "contest" alone.
 Cheesy Cheesy

Barbalien: Red Planet #3 - Not a great Black Hammer universe book sadly.  I'll finish out the mini but I'll be glad when it's over.

Yeah, I had high hopes that were smashed against the rocks about a quarter of the way through #1. I think I tried the second issue, but I could go no further. And no, it wasn't the subject matter (I am assuming for either of us) and it wasn't the artist, I'm a big fan of Walta and what he did on Vision, but it just wasn't hitting for me so I have to blame the only one left ... the writer
 Undecided
Or me of course
 Cheesy

Colonel Weird: Cosmogag #4 - Great ending!  This one I really enjoyed and I'm hoping for more Colonel Weird adventures!

Very happy it hit for one of us  Undecided
I enjoyed most of the issues, but I got really confused as to what truly happened, what this mini was for. hahaha. It was good, but left me more confused that the Colonel himself
 Grin
I guess it was just an origin story and nothing more, yeah? I mean it was a good origin story, but at first I thought it was going to be more than that. Maybe that is why I got confused, thinking it was more than an origin story.
 Cheesy Cheesy

Skulldigger and Skeleton Boy #6 - And another great ending!  We got two home run BH series.  Glad this is the norm.

And again, I'm glad it hit for you.  Undecided Loved this series, loved it, right up to the overly fast ending. I think it needed one more issue to get to the heart of it. It was Grant Morrison like for me. Just jumped to the end, but didn't go into the emotional stuff that needed to go with it.
Again, for me
 Cheesy Cheesy
Still worth it, maybe I just didn't want it to end.
 Grin
Rough couple of months for me and my Black Hammer love. Especially because the newest mini, "Black Hammer: Visions" started out so damn rough for me. Can't wait for Jeff to read that so I can ask him a question that I have with this issue and the BH universe.
 Smiley

Department of Truth #5  ... I know Perry was losing interest but I bet its because he read issues 3, 4, & 5 at the same time?

Hmmm, that could be it because I sure did. Guess I will give #6 a go now
 Cheesy Cheesy

Morrison's Green Lantern #2
Morrison's Green Lantern #3
Morrison's Green Lantern #4
Morrison's Green Lantern #5
- Good stuff, once I get my Morrison reading helmet on  Grin

Brzrkr #1 Keanu Reeves jumps inot the comic world with an idea that has a twinge of John Wick but with Matt Kindt lending a hand (and an arm and leg and ...  Cheesy) and some great Ron Garney art, this mini is off to a pretty darn good start!! Glad I took a chance on this one. Also Glad I didn't take the same chance with ...

Stray Dogs #1 - So I "read" this because I heard on the 11 O'Clock comics podcast that it had an very interesting twist to it. And yeah, it does, but this just isn't for me. That said, if it remains high with sales and stays on people's lips, I have no problem trying it again, at another time. I don't think I was in the mood for brightly colored animation cell looking dogs when I read this, but the ending, both aspects, did raise it up, so I am kinda interested, but still ...  Undecided

Serial #2 - I was a little confused after the first issue of this new Terry Moore series, but this one, this issue, brought me right around. I remembered more about this character (that I JUST read about in Five Years and had loved from another Moore series prior) and so yeah, everything really clicked in this issue
 Grin Cool
This is going to be fun, if it isn't canceled prematurely  Embarrassed

Unearth #1
Unearth #2
Unearth #3
Unearth #4
- I love me some creep comics. Comics that can (or should as in the case with me) give you a little scare or a shiver or two and this fits the bill perfectly. I knew as soon as I seen Cullen Bunn was writing this that I was going to try it, but when I found out it was ending at issue #10, that just came out, I figured may as well start it now before I forget all about it.  Grin
I am going to have to go back and quickly reread these first few issues before I go too much further though as the artist, who does a great job with the "body horror", doesn't nearly do as good of a job distinguishing between characters ... I keep losing who is who in this damn book ... but yeah, I love the idea and the creep that is going on here!! But hey, Bunn can bring it, so nothing new here!

Ooops
Forgot all about this until I saw that the awful Fantastic Four: Antithesis #4 is available on MU now, meant to add it to my comments above and just plain forgot.

Fantastic Four #26 - Yes! This was good.

Okay then. Yeah, I thought so, but needed to find out if it was just my desire to read FF again that made it seem better than it was or what  Cheesy
Thanks for taking the time to check it out for me

Got hit with a bad night so I didn't get as much in at the final hour as I had wanted, but got a few more in throughout the day.

Kick-Ass #1
Kick-Ass #2
- So Jeff has been talking about this for a little bit now so I decided to dip the 'ole toes in and see how it hit for me and yeah, I came away enjoying what I read. Now sure, there is nothing outside of what you would expect it to be in here (yet?), but sometimes you just want a book to have ... and pardon the phrase steal ... but sometimes you just want a book that has kick ass action. You just want to see some damn fightin'.
I think I will go ahead and keep 'reading' the first arc as I'm already 1/3 of the way through and they still want freakin' $4 a pop for single issues of this title ($3.70 something for Unlimited), but after I'm done with the first arc ... yeah ... I can see me adding the rest of this to my pile ...in collected format of course  Grin
($11 for 6 issues collected vs about $20 for singles? BAH)

The Green Lantern #6 - The entire series has been like this, but this issue really pushed the classic 1960's feel to it. Hal working his way in.

Stillwater #5 - Man, I go from loving this to not with every other issue. That means issue #6 will be good. Can't wait! Cheesy Okay, it wasn't bad, and the ending has me looking forward to what happens next. Who are these mo-fos???

Black Widow #3 - Hit the MU for this title and wanted to get to issue #4 before I passed out. Didn't happen. Nothing says this, that I can find, but I am sure this is only a 5 or 6 issue mini, yeah? Maybe not, but has that feel
