Lots of quoting to do

, sooooo ...
X-Factor #2 & 3 - Did I mention that I hate the Mojoverse? These issues did nothing to change that feeling.
Seconded!
Excalibur #11 & 12 - If I remember right both Gambit and Cannonball are also Externals
CRAP! I really need to look into this External stuff

Fantastic Four: Grim Noir #1 - Never cared for D’Spayre. Still don’t.
Awww, that's a shame. I fell in love with D'Spayre, way back when I was young, from a Byrne drawn issue of ... not sure

I think it was an Avengers issue around the Wundagore Mountain stuff, perhaps, but it could have been just a Dr. Strange issue. Or, as I just mistyped, a "Sr." Strange issue

Trying to bring the age closer to mine?

Anyway, when I first saw D'Spayre he was on his horse, which looked like it was rotting away, and I thought he looked so cool.
OH! No wait, I think ... it could have been a Man-Thing guest star issue of Marvel Team Up? Maybe?
Crap, that is gonna bug me for a couple hours

Either way, sorry you don't dig him. I understand why, I just like the look

Amazing Spider-Man #41 - Great start to this arc. Boomerang and Spidey - the team up everyone demanded!

They do work well as a story element!
Dr Strange Surgeon Supreme #4 - Another good issue. Liked that Doc called for help and this new partnership happened organically.
Love how ... that guy ... is working with him. I have never liked that dude, although I have a feeling if I were to go back and read the Avengers runs with him in them I would enjoy them a lot more now than I did back in the day they were being printed. Not sure why I feel that way ... maybe I just want to go back and read some of those issues drawn by Buscema?

Strange Academy #1 - Aaaaaand...I’m in. I liked this a lot.
Sweet! Sadly it lost a lot of momentum being released right when it did, at the start of all this Covid crap, but I hope people come back as I think, especially with the new characters, we could have a very good run here!
Immortal Hulk #32 - This has got to still be the creepiest comic series I’ve ever read.
Just realized I have been away from this comic for far too long ... need to go back to a good starting point (the arc before Xemnu perhaps) and get caught up. Gonna do that today/tonight. Thanks man!

Oh, and just letting you guys know, the first two issue of that fantastic 12 issue mini of Superman's Pal: Jimmy Olsen are up at DCU. More good news is now that DC will soon be releasing titles after 6 months, the first nine issues should be up there soon!!
(Although I still think it is a better read going all the way through, so perhaps still wait about 4 more months to start)

The only thing I would have added to my list for this week is a title I started called -
The Cimmerian: People of the Black Circle #1 - by Ablaze comics. This company is doing Conan right. Mostly. As are all their runs so far, this is a two issue story, but this time I am going to struggle getting through I fear. I am not a fan of the art style in tis arc. It is reminiscent of a Dragon Ball Z style, though not as pronounced as that. That kind of art has never been a thing for me on established properties. I love the style, on its own, but when it is covering characters that I know ... unless the style fits the form, it isn't for me. You can probably get an idea of the style I mean from the cover -

It's nice, but the sharp edges of the hair ... it's just not Conan for me. The first two mini's had some incredible European art style that I really enjoyed and heck, I am sure the next one after this (The Frost Giants Daughter) will also have a visual pleasing style for me, but this one, while not bad ... at all ... is just not doing it for me.

But hey, now Jeff has me side tracked with Hulk, so ... yeah ... I will jump over to that instead
