YESSSSS!!!
This is one of 2 books that 'fixed' a grievious writing error in my eyes.
Wally wanted out, but the speed force dragged him back, because it chose him. Truly did! I've always believed that, thank you Mark Waid!

Obviously, we all feel that the nonsense, bull shit of Heroes in Crisis was a big dumb move. Utter shit, and made little sense in what, or why, Wally's "powers" did this.
I ...just won't believe it was all a 3 year set up to bring Wally back to full hero status. Why?
BECAUSE HE WAS IN FULL HERO STATUS BY FORCING HIS WAY BACK INTO THIS WORLD TO FIND BARRY, TO FIND LINDA, AND TO BRING HIS CHILDREN BACK INTO THE WORLD!!
So, this was a story to fix HiC. And that was GREAT. would it have been great to see Wally get that history moment changed? You betcha! But I like the explanation behind why that moment did happen, and continued to have to happen. Loved seeing Roy get to be the hero there-feel awful for Ollie to hear the 'last' of Roy.
(I guess Ollie reads Infinite Crisis on the DC app, and doesn't know what's going on with Roy either!!

)
Also, how ABSOLUTELY SWEET does the classic Flash duds look on Wally? I lvoe his white superhero eyes and NO SPEED STITCH LINES!!
Whatever else this writer does, and how horrible is it that I don't remember WHO it is?!-I'm forever a fan for rubbing out HiC and bringing Wally back to the state of who he has always been-the best kind of hero! An earnest, hard working one!! With love in his heart and goodness in his soul!!!
