been going to the theater far more than normal recently...found the great Angelika Theater in Plano...shows arthouse and festival films.

"Will you be my Neighbor"...great Mr Rogers documentary.  he came on the yr i was born (68) so i grew up watching...i preferred Sesame Street and Zoom as i felt he was too soft but after watching the film i took on a whole new respect for him and the fact that he was willing and able to discuss and explain even the worst events (war, assassinations, 911).  even when he had been off the air for yrs, PBS would bring him out for a week of shows to discuss the current event...something most adult are completely unable to do effectively.

"Heart beats loud" a bit of a chick flick but full of hearty and soul

"Identical Strangers"...truth is always stranger than fiction...pretty amazing story with a twist you do not see coming (dont read reviews)

"yellow submarine" need i say more

and finally, and please tell me i am not the only person who saw the absolutely incredible "Incredibles 2"...come on folk...this one is pure gold.

I wasn't able to see Incredibles 2!!!   Cry Cry Cry

I'm so incredibly bummed. Sick kids, a wedding, another wedding's bridal shower, father's day events up north; just couldn't make it work!!! Cry Cry Cry

Grandma took the kiddo to Incredibles 2 and we were so mad.  We still need to see it as when we saw the first one we didn't even have a kid!

Never heard of Identical Strangers, but after you posted I checked it out and now I want to see it.  Cool Not a theater movie for me, but as that list is rarely filled with anything, that isn't a knock
 Cheesy

Also do want to see Yellow Sub and Will You Be ..., but again, will wait for them to come to me. Sadly Incredibles 2 also is in the "here I am, come to me" category, but I do look forward to seeing that one the most. I am such a huge fan of the first one, as we all are, but it is, to me, the only successful Fantastic Four movie so it holds a special place

I'd like to also see 'will you... ' as I love Mr Rogers. Just reading his quotes, videos on YouTube, his show, honestly makes me cry that he was so genuine in his care for everyone.

Also reading about his (then) criticisms of children's programming being done by people who don't know children psychology and how to talk to or understand children I find very telling.

Yep.

Sad thing is, today, with all the hate that is the internet, Rogers would be accused of being a pedo at least once a week

We watched the new Coen brothers film that was released on Netflix:  The Ballad of Buster Scruggs.
It's composed of six different stories which range from extremely funny, to very sad, to very very disturbing.

As a Beatles fan I so want to see that.
I will not be going to the theaters, but I do want to see it  Grin

Glad to hear it was good. Although I had little doubt, it being directed by Danny Boyle and all (man I wish he would have been able to finish this next Bond movie  Sad)

Just finished The Infinity Chamber on Amazon.
Slow but decent Sci-Fi movie, worth it for the ending ... at least to me.
Similar to Moon, as far as only having a couple actors and the pacing. Nothing else similar.
