Finished:
1.  Hawkeye – Season 1 - My expectations weren’t high for this since Perry didn’t like it.  But I have to say, I actually really liked it.  Even in some of the silliness parts.  The last episode was definitely it’s weakest but I wound up having fun with it.  As excited as I got at the big bad guy reveal, I kind of wish they hadn’t done it.  It derailed the direction of the show quite a bit.  The surprise guest heroine was enough to get me excited so we didn’t need the surprise villain.  But despite that, I had fun watching. We binged all 6 episodes in one sitting.

2.  Foundation - Season 1 - Let me start by saying I really like this show.  It is an excellent journey in the universe of what is my all time favorite novels.  I will be watching this as long as they keep making it. Great show.   That being said…..I am disappointed that by the end they are going a direction that fundamentally changes the story from the novel.  One of the best parts of the novel was the big reveal in the third book and that isn’t going to happen in the series.  It appears (and I could be wrong) that they are changing how a critical plot point happens and they are going to tell the story of how their version happens, taking away a pretty big twist.  This will have to change everything leading up to it as well.  Again, I love this series and highly recommend it, but the excitement I had for seeing the novel come to life has been diminished.

I have Season 1 tagged on my library but haven’t got to it yet.  I’m assuming it’s good since it’s on your list for season 2.

Honestly, while I did enjoy this crime drama'dy, most of my good feelings came from the first half of the season. I was a little, not bad, just a little, let down with the last few episodes, but it was still okay. The wife enjoyed it a lot more, even didn't mind the second half, so I know she is going to want to see the next season. As I didn't hate it and have no idea how they are going to do a second season, I figured I would give it a shot to see if:
A- The second season does have an interesting story
B- If once again it is only good for half of the season 
C- And if I will watch the entire second season if so?

Also found out about the release date of Raised by Wolves s2 so, YAY!!!
And see that Prime has a new Reacher show that I want to try. I liked the first two books I read by Lee Child, but stopped after that. I got my step-dad hooked hard on them however. He has read all 20 something of them. We also enjoyed the Tom Cruise movie, but thought the casting was laughable as Reacher stands like 6'6 or something like that.
 
And how in the hell did I forget about the new HBO show based on one of my favorite games... right after Uncharted (same creative team), The Last of Us? Staring Boba Fett himself, Pedro Pascal!!! My goodness I am excited for that one!

Recently Finished:

Silent Sea Season 1 - Tried this newest S.Korean show and... it's fine. We really enjoy a lot of programing and movies from S Korea, but this one just didn't hit for the wife, at all. I may come back to it on my own, at some point, but for now, its over before it began

Star Trek: Discovery Season 2 - Man, this puppy had a lot more episodes than I had remembered. Only because I have found I am used to the shorter seasons of other properties that are streaming, but yeah, seemed like a ton of episodes.
As for the season, I found a few more... problems  this time around than I had the first time through. I only watched this as it had been a long time since I saw this season and I wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything going into the 3rd season, a season I had started but never finished. I also think, going straight into this s2 made some things more clear, unfortunately as many things were better not noticed  Where last time I went directly from s1 into s2 so in comparison s2 seemed like a better product, at the time (compared to the first season where... well... yeah).
Still, as a Trek fan I am glad I watched it, but I hear the show goes down hill from here, each season getting worse than the last and having just finished the first episode of s3, I can see how that may be the case.
 
Oh well, I trek ever forward!

Magnolia Table w/ Joanna Gaines Season 1 - Each and every episode the wife and I found something we wanted to try to make. Very simple stuff, but looks damn tasty and presented with the flair I have grown so used to seeing from the "better half" of the Fixer Upper team
 

Love It or List It Season 17 - Another "home improvement" show the wife has me hooked on. Lots of fake ass conversations between couples (to add to the drama of it all  ) but still enjoy seeing the process. I li9ke Fixer Upper better, but yeah, the wife sold me on this show as well and I am happy to watch with her.

Star Trek: Discovery s3

Peaky Blinders s1 - The wife and I started this when it first came out about 8 (?) years ago (I think it was on BBC America at the time?) and we only got about 15 minutes in when we decided to bolt. Not that it wasn't good, but at the time we were very much UK'd out by the sheer volume of British shows we were watching at the time. We honestly just forgot about it until recently. Good stuff if you like Gangster related shows
 

Impractical Jokers - So in an effort to bypass all national news  (trying to ease my heart and mind so I won't go insane from thinking too hard on some of the stupid ass shit that I see people doing) we decided to change our cable station that we "sit on" (always have it tuned to one channel so when we stop streaming, a rarity, that is what we see and perhaps get interested in watching for a few minutes before heading back to streaming  ). We chose TruTV as we saw that they carry this show and I remember it fondly. I have since found out the HBO has all the episodes so we check into it from time to time when we only have about 20 minutes left before we crash

Finished:
1.  The Wheel of Time - Season 1 - I didn’t enjoy this much at all for the first half of the season.  In fact I figured I would wind up dropping this.  But surprisingly the second half of the season got really good.  If you read the book I think you have to throw out what you know from that read as thy do change quite a bit and the ending is a lot different than I remembered.

2.  Money Heist - Season 5 Volume 2 - Excellent ending to the series.  If you like movies like the Oceans 11 series then you’ll like this.  Bittersweet wrap up but the journey and the characters are what made it great.

3. The Witcher - Season 2 - Really enjoyed this season much better than season 1.  Things have really ramped up in terms of the kingdoms and the future wars.  Liked the interaction with Geralt and the girl, Geralt and the other Witchers, and pretty much all the twists and turns.

4.  Yellowstone - Season 1 - Wow this was a lot of fun to watch.  It's like Dallas meets the Godfather on a ranch in Montana.  I'm not sure there are any redeemable characters on this show.  But they are fun to watch.  Similar to Succession in the character of the characters.  Kevin Costner is a great patriarch for this family and I can't wait to see what brutality comes our way in season 2!

Ha, of course, I just canceled my BritBox again. Haha, oh well, I'll check it out next go 'round 

3.  Star Trek Discovery - Season 1 - Ok Perry I'll finally get this done!   

Man, I don't know now.   Having just re-watched s2, I'm not sure this is going to be something you glom onto.
 
Saying that, I do enjoy the show, mostly, although still scared about how much I hear the show gets worse, less well written and enjoyable with each season. But then again, some people are not every people  Like how I realized this time going through just how much season one and two play off of each other as for story outline. Like they planned for exact beats and plots in season 2 when they planning season 1. They are so different but do tie in pretty damn tight. That is a good thing, so maybe I will like the rest? If I can get past the third episode of season 3 this time? I mean, well, no spoilers, so lets just say that this show does tend to out "Roddenberry" itself from time to time  . There are parts where I feel that I am listening to that damn awful Falcon speech again , but Trek has always been about that kind of stuff, even if they go heavy handed with it this time around with this particular show, and they do, it is still Trek. And for me, that is cool.

1.  Yellowstone - Season 2 - While I was watching season 1 I told a friend this show was pretty brutal.  My friend said to me,  “Oh you ain’t seen nothing yet.”  I just finished season two and OMG he was right.  Great season and some unbelievably evil people in this.

2.  Star Trek Discovery - Season 1 - Wow! This was so much better than I  thought it would be! Loved the Klingon War and the Mirror Universe.  So many unexpected twists and turns!  Ok, I’m a fan.

3.  Letterkenny - Season 10 - Much better season.  Back to its great episodes.  There were only six episodes this time so maybe that helped them focus.

Recently Finished:

Vera s11 - I think? We finished all 4 of this years offerings, but there are usually 6, so maybe we have more? None are listed so I am not sure. Either way a good, classic British "who dunnit" series where each episode is a "done in one". Love me some murder! 

Don't Look Up - Hahaha, okay, this is nothing but a slam job of a movie, but as I am on the side of the "scientist", I loved it. Absolutely incredible. You can slide so much and so many different aspects into this "Asteroid" that you could go insane. You could also easily (maybe) just watch this movie and enjoy it for what it is on the outside, I guess, but if you go into the weeds and think about what is being said ... oh yeah, it brings certain frustrations so far to the forefront it isn't even... Well, just a really well done movie!

Magnolia Table w/ Joanna Gaines Season 2 - Only a few episodes per season so this is going fast. The wife loves the super simple but tasty recipes. I enjoy Joanna so it is a win/win

Ozark s4 - Holy cow! Took me a few minutes to get my memory back on what has been happening to this family over the last three seasons (even with the recap  ), but once I got all that straight... BAM Still one of the best shows out there. The wife wouldn't let me stop watching. Almost finished the entire season already. It's like Jeff and his wife with Yellowstone. Both families just can't stop. Send help

Yellowstone - The wife and I tried this and we just couldn't get into it. I could see all of the Network Television beats that bug me. But, you know how sometimes you try something and you don't care for it and then you try again and you wonder "What the hell? How did I not enjoy this"? (Peaky Blinders did the same thing for us years ago and now we scratch our collective heads wondering why in the hell we stopped watching it! We love it!) Well, I am hoping that happens to me with this show. I know I enjoy the premise/plot/theme and especially the genre, but damn those first two episodes left a bad taste in my mouth the last time I tried. The wife, who normally comes hard with the judging in the first five to ten minutes of a show, took a little longer to frown (something inside the bar scene in episode one she hated), so between us, the show was short lived the first try. Again, maybe just a fluke of a bad day. I hope. Going to try one more time, but no idea when

Not having young ones helps   Gives me more time to concentrate on the true pride and joy of the family, our television!!

Recently Finished:

Ozark s4 part 1 - The wife and I knocked out all seven episodes of this in under 24 hours, again, no kids in the house   Now I have to find out when part 2 is going to hit and how many episodes it will be. This first part was incredible!

Currently Watching:

1883 (The Origin of Yellowstone) - I enjoy westerns, I love westerns done well. And I have to say, I am impressed by the husband and wife, country star duo of Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. Not too much acting needed by Tim as the role is more stoic than anything else, but still decent enough and Faith keeps impressing me

Peacemaker - A slow burn for me and I was honestly surprised at my reaction to that feeling. This "kind of humor", which when done right I find funny as hell and so maybe I either didn't find it done well at first or I have grown accustomed to it. Love the addition of one of the 'side' characters. The old 80's DC character that had his own title for awhile, even though he was portrayed totally differently than he is here.
