Cosmic Ghost Rider

I'm thinking about dipping my toe into the Cosmic Ghost Rider series since I like what Donny Cates has been doing lately on Thanos and Doctor Strange.

Is this any good?

I love the character, loved the Thanos mini that had him in it, but I didn't enjoy the first issue of his solo mini.

I have wanted to go back and try again, but it didn't hit for me the first time.

I suggest going slow, adding one issue at a time before committing to the entire thing. 

I am a Cates fan, so I am sure (well, almost sure) it was just me

I know I felt just like Jeff after reading the first issue (he mentioned elsewhere).

And...so far, it's been one that has continually slid down the pile to be read. But I don't read a lot..until I do! So, we'll see. I'll read issue 2 soon at some point.
