INCREDIBLE!!!!!!

So damn funny
So damn emotional
So damn good!!

I do have one question ... this contains spoilers so please do NOT open until after you have seen the movie ...

At the funeral for you know who .... everyone was in the little groups (Gaurdians were standing with the Guardians, Ant-Man people standing with the Ant-Man people, etc ...), and there was also the ... semi loners group that included Wasp, Bucky and Sam. Behind them, standing alone, was this kid/young adult guy. Anyone seen him before? Could he be the future Iron Man ... the young Kang from Young Avengers? I think that because he was at THAT Funeral, but I could be way off

I only ask because I didn't recognize him

Epic!!!!  Very well done.

I had the same question Perry and I think....

its the kid from Iron Man 3 that helped him.  Tony built him a lab in the barn.

And ...

How about how small and frail they made Tony look at first! They did some great editing on the trailer as he looked nothing like that. but in the movie you really see just how much those 20 some days in space effected him.

Oh, and I was right about the Cap teeth clinch. When he pulled that strap on his shield, his arm was broken all to hell!!

Didn't see the one death coming though. That was a good shocker!! And I love how they "ended" Cap

Yes...
I really liked the Cap ending.  So when he went to got see her in the hospital in one of the past movies I wonder if the husband she was talking about was really him!

 Cool Cool

One thing that really really bugs the crap out of me however and this is not a spoiler, but certainly a point of contention for me.

Why in the hell does Marvel REFUSE to put an ad at the beginning or the end of their movies that say something along the line of -
"Enjoy seeing Marvel heroes on the big screen? Well put them in you hand. Stop by your local comic shop today and grab a handful of Marvel comics!!!"

Why do they not do that???
WHY???

When to Pee During Avengers Endgame

 Cheesy Cheesy

I only had a half a cup of coffee and about the same in water before the movie. O knew going in a had to stay on the non-hydrated side. If you pace your soda that you may get, you can make it.

 Cheesy

There were about 9 people walk out during the movie, and those are only the ones that were in my line of vision and not counting the rows behind me that I couldn't see. One person went twice!!! I know he lost a ton of the movie.  Grin

I'll say this for reactions:

totally kneejerk, but it makes me want to stop reading comics. Not that I've been in a great place for reading comics or collecting lately, but at this moment, I have a hard time believing that I'll feel anything like I did at the finale of Endgame.
comics almost feel 'pointless' in the face of what the great, good, so-so, and even kind of poor movies that have been done for the past 12 years through the 23 films.
To a degree, how will the comics measure up again to me?

It's all kneejerk, but I almost feel like I could clap my hands and walk away.

Kneejerk. Wink

I understand, Jimmy  Cheesy

On a different note, one that once again proves we have gone too damn far with this shit, I was watching the Rotten Tomatoes review of this movie and the two women reviewers had the audacity to
complain that Black Widow was the one that died. NOT with the defense that Clint should have died because he became a murderer (well they said that after their first complaint), but because once again the powers that be are having a woman show her worth by pleasing a man.
Now that is not exactly the word they use, I do so wish I could remember the exact phrase they used, but that is the gist of it.
All the while I am thinking "Damn girls, if Clint would have been the one that died you know damn well you would have cried that it was once again a man taking the heroic roll of self-sacrifice because a woman just couldn't do that!"
Freakin pissed me off!!!
So tired of this shit

my daughter and i went to see it last night and it was quite an adventure just getting into the theater.  As we were pulling up to the theater, I saw an ambulance pulling in.  About thirty seconds later a firetruck pulled in.  Then I noticed there was a crowd of about 200 people just milling around in the parking lot.  I looked for smoke but didn't see any.  Then a second and third firetruck rolled in.  I asked someone standing outside what had happened and he said that during the movie, someone started screaming in the back and then a minute later, the fire alarm went off and they evacuated the theater.  Apparently someone had a seizure and the people with them panicked and pulled the fire alarm.  So the fire men had to clear the building and make sure it was ok for everyone to go back in.  They let all the people in who had been watching a movie back inside first and then everyone else was allowed in.  We walked in the building at 5:55 for a 6PM movie and the film started at 6:05.  I rushed to go empty my bladder before the film started and still made it in time to see the two previews before the movie.

now for the movie:

what I liked:

Best scene ever in a MCU film is when Cap wields Mjolnir.  EPIC.  People stood up and applauded.  seriously.

Captain Marvel rescuing Tony.

When Spider-man showed back up, I almost had tears in my eyes.

The Hulk was great.  Loved it.

Cap's Hail Hydra moment.

And now the conundrum (you'll see in my dislikes.)  Cap ends up with Peggy and lives his life like he wanted.

And now, the DISlikes:

Black Widow is dead.  I have a HUGE crush on ScarJo, so of course, I was against this.

If Cap put all the Stones back, wouldn't he have had a run in with Red Skull?  I want to see that.

When Captain Marvel shows up at the end, she DEMOLISHES Thanos' ship.  Why does she need an escort to fly the Gauntlet through Thanos' minions when Peter hands it to her?

Cap saying, "Are you shitting me?" after his "Language" line in AOU.  I didn't like it.

I wanted to see Coulson and a young Nick Fury when they were tripping through time.

Unless ALL of Peter's friends got snapped, how are they all still in high school?

Cap ending up with Peggy and living the life he wanted.  SOOOOOO bittersweet for me.  Cap has always been one of, if not my favorite, super hero and I think Chris Evans portrayed him perfectly.  I actually woke up at 3:40 AM last night and couldn't fall back to sleep for about 45 minutes because I kept thinking about this.  I know Sam will be Cap now, but he isn't Steve Rogers.  At first, I was kind of upset because I was like, "Did Cap go back before Peggy met her husband and basically wipe their marriage and kids out of existence?" and then I read a theory that asks, "What if Cap was Peggy's husband all along?" Maybe when he went back, he told her all he safely could but had to hold out on the Hydra info so that things would happen the way they were supposed to happen or he wouldn't have the chance to come back at all.  Imagine how he felt knowing about things like 9/11 and the Vietnam war and every major tragic historic event that he could prevent but he also COULDN'T prevent?  They never say who Peggy's husband really was, so......and that begs the question, what about his kids?  Was he at Peggy's funeral as an old man?  Was he sitting at a bar somewhere while the younger Cap was visiting Peggy in Winter Soldier?

In the End(game), I thought it was a more than fitting ending to this era of the MCU but I want more.
