How ya liking Astonishing X-Men, Jeff? I like it. Better than the X "insert color here" stuff anyway. Kinda feels old school X-Men. I like it.

Manhunter #28
Manhunter #29
Manhunter #30
- Last issue of a (sadly) less than stellar arc. One mare arc to go, eight more issues, I am just hoping this returns to early glory. Not that these issues are bad, no, no, just not as powerful as the earlier 24 or 25 issues

Also I only started reading Grant Morrison's The Green Lantern #1 but whoa boy, is it a Grant Morrison comic. I tried to read it when I was tired, very tired so that was my mistake. My eyes were trying to read as well as find all the art details, I only made it through page 3 before giving up, but I will tackle it today ... hopefully

I like it.  It's the only X-Team book I read.  Very few writers get the X-Men anymore IMO.  They think everything has to be some epic war of social justice or something like that.  Astonishing doesn't do that.  You are right that it feels more like the X-Men are supposed to be.

The Green Lantern #1 - Sooooo Morrison.  I love it.  Will be fun - and likely confusing - seeing him tackle the Corps.

The Terrifics Annual #1 - Not bad; Not epic.  Just a good one shot annual.

Batman #58 - Sooooo cool.  Can't wait to see where this is going with the Penguin.

Deathstroke #37 - Another good Deathstroke story.  I like how this is the Batman Family of the Assassin World.

Die!Die!Die! 3 - Man this is a weird comic.  But somehow, I can't look away....   Grin

I totally agree.  You have to be able to pay attention to and you still might be confused!

Redneck 15 - This is one of my favorite books right now and this issue only further confirms that!

Seven to Eternity 11 - I’m enjoying this but I’m ready for it to be done.

Oblivion Song 8 - another one I’m ready to wrap up.  I want to know how it ends but I’m tired of reading it.  The art is what kills it.

Thief of Thieves 41 - Still fun. Reads better in trade but I like the story.

The Walking Dead 184 - Between this and the show I’m getting over load on Walking Dead. It’s still good but might be time to wrap it all up.

Echo Vol. 2: Atomic Dreams - (Collects issues 6-10) - GREAT STORY!  I want to keep reading!

The Sixth Gun Vol. 7: Not The Bullet, But The Fall - (Collects issues 36-41) - Great story here as well. Getting close to the end and I bet it’s a doozy!

Seven to Eternity 11 - I’m enjoying this but I’m ready for it to be done.

Damn it.
I stopped after ... issue #3 ... I think ... only because it seemed to be a title that I wanted, or that I would be better served, reading in larger doses. I loved what I saw, but really wanted the memory to be able to soak it all in to get a better idea of the world. But if you're already feeling tired before the first 12 issues, that doesn't bode well for me or my plan

Oh I disagree.  Your plan is actually much better.  I'm more tired of it because of the large length of time between issues.  This will read so much better in groupings.  I think you will really like this series if you read it in a TPB like grouping.  In fact, if it continues past issue 12 then I'll likely switch to TPB myself.  Stick to your plan!  It's a good one.   Smiley

Well, looks like we got spam hit again. Been a long time. I will start working on knocking them off, but may not get to all of them right now.
I will just delete most of them, if I can Jeff, and let you do the "blocking" and all the rest ... I don't want to mess that up
 Grin
But before I start deleting posts, I do want to reply to a couple of posts. First in regards to reading Seven to Eternity in bulk  Grin ....

Okay, sweet. Thanks for the knowledge
 Cool

Manhunter 7-12 - Yep.  Still awesome.

Really glad you are digging this. I do like the next arc, the one you are about to read, but then comes ... well, I will just say the one that has something to do with Wonder Woman. The one I didn't overly enjoy  Undecided (yes, a very slight tease ... not a spoiler, even though you can see her on the covers when you are at the Manhunter page)
 Wink

I also think I can ask my question now (even though Jimmy would be better to answer it I believe ... only as he read this before, I think that is. He did ask if I was talking about THIS particular Manhunter series so I assume he read it, though he may not have and was just curious  Cheesy) but as I am not sure how much or when my question actually comes into play, I will hold off until you get to ... the Wonder Woman arc.

Okay, off to start deleting some posts ... unless anyone wants porn sites dedicated to "mature women"

That was probably my bad.  I went and bulk deleted a bunch of spam requests for access and I think I accidentally accepted them instead of rejecting them.

Astonishing X-Men 11 - I hope Old Man Logan goes back to the future and real Wolverine show up here.

Avengers 1 - the McGuiness art is detracting from my enjoyment.   Undecided

Hunt for Wolverine: Weapon Lost 1 -  I like this cast.  This could be fun.

Infinity Countdown 3 - liked the cliff hanger ending. Looking forward to next issue.

Rogue & Gambit 5 - not bad, not epic. Just a run of the mill Rogue and Gambit mini series that’s now finished.

That was probably my bad.

Hell with that, it was THEIR bad  Angry

 Grin

Dude, I could try my hardest and I would fail to disagree with you. You are right there with me as far as that goes. And what gets me, usually, or at least in the past, I was not adverse to McGuiness art, mostly, although I wouldn't put him near my top favorites, but here, his art is just not fitting the book. Red Hulk, okay, but not on Aaron's Avengers. Hang in there as the story is pretty fun and after the first arc a much more pleasing artist jumps on ... for about 5 issues.

May as well throw my petty ass list up. Man, Im running so damn slow this month it seems
 Undecided

Batman #56 - Gotta catch up.
Manhunter #31
Manhunter #32
- Oh this arc is already much better, for me, than the last ... YAY!!
The Wildstorm #18 - And it happened. Stayed away too long and now I feel lost. Gonna wait and read complete.
The Green Lantern #1 - Speaking of "lost". It is official, someone needs to tell Morrison to start plotting and let other writers write the damn script  Cheesy. Dude is all over the place here. I will give him this, he damn sure packed in a lot of story in the pages given. Anyone else this would have at least been 2 or maybe 3 issues with the advancement in story we got here. That is both a good thing and a bad thing as I feel really rushed here. Especially Hal jumping around from scene to scene, planet to planet all within panels without any travel to get there.
 Cheesy
I can dig what he is doing, but this shit is just gonna be like an Elseworlds to me. This is not the Hal I enjoy reading about. Not really. It's cool, but at the same time ... yeah ... ya know.
