With all my hurricane prepping (okay, all I really did was book a hotel away from the house, for power access, and put stuff in my garage up on some blocks to try and avoid the flooding ... the house sits a little higher so I hadn't tackled that yet) I didn't read much at all. Sadly most of what I DID read was ... BLAH!!!!!
A Study In Emerald ****************
Lost City Explorers #2
Lost City Explorers #3 - Started so intriguing but now its just gone to horrible pacing and dialog. I'm out.
Rick and Morty vs Dungeons & Dragons #1 - Fun, but not as much as I wanted. Kinda let down.
Bloodshot: Salvation #11
Bloodshot: Salvation #12 - Speaking of let down ... COME ON, LEMIRE!! What a horrible end to this series. This is how you finish that fantastic run on Bloodshot? Man, this one hit me hard with its "let down'ness"
Seriously though, this pissed me off. But hey, you can love a writer to death and they still can't please you all the time. I get it, I just wanted this one, this arc, his last Bloodshot to be a winner. Going to go cry now ... BRB
Immortal Hulk #5 - Yet another let down. This had been so good, but hoping the next issue gets us back on track
Asgardians of the Galaxy #1 - I don't even really remember this one, but I know I read it. I guess I wasn't bowled over. May do a re-read and read a few in a row when it hits issue #3. Or maybe not
The Dreaming #1 - YAY!! To be honest I almost stopped reading this as it has been so long since I read Sandman (and for the life of me I don't remember finishing it ... I think I must not have actually) so I was kinda lost at first, thinking I should know a little more than I did going in, but the story got me hooked and even though I am still ... lost ... ish ... I think this is gonna be a fine addition to the read list. Now I just hope the other three titles hit as well!
