Getting to issue 14 (or whatever it is) is better than not getting to them at all. Or worse, only finding every other issue at the LCS or Dave's.  You saved me time (and probably money). Nothing bad about that  |

Deathstroke #20The Lazarus Contract was a big disappointment for me. Especially after coming off that great Deathstroke run. I like where it has left Deathstroke for the next chapter in his life but the journey there was just bad. Character interactions were all wrong. The basic plot was disjointed and didn't make sense. And the act that fixes everything has no logic to it. In fact, it wouldn't have fixed anything. Bad bad writing on this one.  |

The Lazarus Contract was a big disappointment for me. I didn't want to say anything and ruin it for you, especially coming off the high you had with Deathstroke, but it didn't hit for me either, really. Being as I am not a fan of either of the Titan's books, I chalked it up to them being the problem. That they stained my Deathstroke. Was able to get two more in last night, issues #5 and #6 of L44. And I just wrote out what I thought about them, but darn it, I need to get back to posting thoughts about titles inside the thread about those titles. It has gotten to the point whenever I want to review what I may have said about a book, I can't find anything now So yeah ... anyway those thoughts that are now below this will be there in the L44 thread and not here. Being as I am not a fan of either of the Titan's books, I chalked it up to them being the problem.
I felt the same way. Especially when... Damian saves the day by stopping Flash's heart in the past? WTF WAS THAT??? Deathstroke stole Kid Flash's speed force not Flash's. IT WOULD HAVE HAD NO EFFECT. NONE. ZILCH.  It was only there to serve some future story arc in Titans about Flash having a pace maker??!! OMG that was dumb. ...IMO. |
