Man, that is a tough task right there.

I will warn you on Lazarus ... it is a really good series (that I need to get back to) but is a very slow burn. Do not save for last or when you are tired.
 Cheesy Cheesy
You may, actually, not really enjoy it much until you get to issue 6 or so. Not that the story is bad, is isn't, but again, it "moves at a snails pace" in parts.

Nailbiter is a fun Williamson book. Still not sure how he can write that, Birthright and ... something else I liked and be so  off with Flash
 Undecided

EDIT -

Knocked out the last two -

Old Man Logan #22
Old Man Logan #23
= Pretty cool little romp through Logan's past!!!

So I took you advice on Lazarus.  Great book!  Snail pace won't bother me as a blasted through that trade (first four issues).  I'm glad I have ComiXology Unlimited because that means Volume 2 is free to read.    Grin

Sex Criminals - I forgot how good this book is.  I think this is where I left off and I can't wait to keep reading.  Really well done book.  Definitely not for the non-mature but the main character is so well written.

10 comics down, 53 to go.  I might just be able to do it if they are all this good!

Generation X #1

I just don't understand Marvel. You have a great chance to get people on board with the reset of one of the most beloved franchises, the X Universe, and you spend what seems to be $100 and a Twix on the artists?

Controversy aside, I didn't find the art in X-Men Gold all that great ... and look, it should have been!!! This was THE resest of the X-Men. This should have been worth looking at. It wasn't. And now, with this Generation-X title, we get art that is so ... crazy eyed looking ... I just don't know what to say other than "what are you guys doing?"

I don't mean any disrespect to those artists, well the one on Gold I now give two shits about and hope he enjoys unemployment for a good many lifetimes, but for this book? Why would you not pay to get a top tier artist on this?

Yes, I know, Marvel (well the higher ups there) have stated that the artists don't push up sales, but they have to know that artist can damn sure make them slide down. If not, they just need to stop talking about artists and start watching how their sales continue to drop.

Pathetic

I haven't seen that issue but I totally agree with the sentiment.  I get that people will buy because a certain writer is on a book but they will just as easily skip that writer because of the art. Dumb decision and wasted opportunity.

The Ultimates #7 - OH what the Huh part two!!!
U.S. Avengers #6 - Like Ultimates, a decent "Secret Empire" tie-in, but this one wasn't ruined by dreadful art.
Thanos #6 - Good book, but I was so beaten down by the Ultimates title that even Deodato couldn't lift me up

Okay, now that I can type without anger -

Knocked out only four more for this week -

The Damned #1 - Cullen Bunn's gangster/demon comic returns!!! Decent first issue.
Regression #1 - Yet another Bunn book (he has so many now) but this one, this one is gooood. (If you like horror)
Satellite Falling #1
Satellite Falling #2
- I read these a long time ago, but just found out that #'s 3, 4 and 5 were out, so I had to go back and do a re-read. Sad that they cut this 6 issue mini down to 5 issues, though. I heard the last issue is rushed, but hopefully not too badly as I do intend to read this to finish the story.
 Sad
