Issue #3I just really don't like what is going on here. Not the story, not the idea, but the execution. Millar always has grand ideas, and this is another one, but when we should be getting good dialog and a pacing that fits our new discovery of this world and it's peoples, we get "Hey what if this happened and then this, and then ... And oh, how about this?" kind of pacing. There is no writing here. There is just ideas on paper.
We spend no time at one location much less spending time on characters and getting to know them.
Millar likes to just come up with ideas, bust it out as quick as possible and leave, and that's fine most of the time. Those quick hitting stories work for him ... mostly. But this world and this idea could really use a little slowing down and more attention. Attention Millar rarely gives.
