Let me know if there are any changes in the SWSE print mini. I was kinda curious.
 Wink

And don't get your hopes up to high with that Chewbacca mini. It's okay, but I wanted more ... more ... Roar? I don't know. Some kinda punch or bite. Don't get me wrong, its good, but not in a "wow, that was good" kinda way. More of a "Okay, I read that. It was fine. Next!" kinda way, sadly.

I had heard it wasn't that great so my expectations are not high. That usually increases my enjoyment.   Cheesy

Right??
 Cheesy

In fact ...

All comics suck. The next 3,000 comics you read are just going to be flat out terrible!!!

(There ya go. Enjoy!!)

Had some good free time today:

Comixology
Birthright 17
Black Science 22
East of West 27
East of West 28
Descender 13
Jupiters Legacy Vol 2 #1
Jupiters Legacy Vol 2 #2
Micronauts 3
Micronauts 4
Velvet 15

Marvel Unlimited
Kanan 3
Kanan 4
Kanan 5
Kanan 6
Kanan 7
Kanan 8
Kanan 9
Kanan 10
Kanan 11
Star Wars Shattered Empire 1
Star Wars Shattered Empire 2
Star Wars Shattered Empire 3
Star Wars Shattered Empire 4
Chewbacca 1
Chewbacca 2
Chewbacca 3
Chewbacca 4
Chewbacca 5

Trade Paper Back
X-O Manowar Vol 9 Dead Hand
Dead Drop TPB
Imperium Vol 2 Broken Angels

Expectations must have worked because for the most part I liked Chewbacca.  The first three issues were stronger than the last two but in the end I didn't hate it like I thought I would.

Not sure what you were asking about "changes" in the SWSE comic but it was a throw away story IMO. Not Rucka's best work.

Kid had a rough week this time, one of the toughest yet, so the wife and I, well ... we had a lot going on this week. My reading got jumbled and sporatic and I didn't really enjoy much of what I read, being in the mood I was in, but this is what I read so far -

Batman & Robin #10 (? ... I forgot what number it was, I think that is right)
Batman & Robin #11
Batman & Robin #12
Batman & Robin #13
Batman & Robin #14
Batman & Robin #15
Batman & Robin #16
Batman: The Return #1
Batman, Inc. v1 #1
Legion of Super Heroes #286
(?)

Aliens Defiance #4
World of Tanks #1
Generation Zero #1
(Valiant's newest title. Very much like a New X-Men type of story, so far)

Annnnnnd I think that's it.
 Undecided

I'm sorry to hear that. Please know that I think of you and your family often, and wish them well.

Everyone here, in fact, I think of often. Always to wish to my comic friends and their kids happiness and security wherever they are.

I read Grell Green Arrow vol 5 (still really enjoying this run!) and Hellblazer vol 13 (oh yeah, Warren Ellis stories. Day-um, are they good!)

Like Jimmy said, your always in my thoughts as well as you deal with this.  Sounds like your girl is a fighter like her old man so I have faith she'll get through this.

Finished off the list today with Imperium.  Man, that was a great book.  Loved seeing Harada go up against Divinity.

And don't you ever, ever think I don't appreciate, my man! I mean that. I may #@$% with you about being a "DC fan", but I hope you know it is all in jest. I do really take heed of your opinion and your good will which you have shown countless times here. You are my DC man, like it or not, and I still take all your good wishes to heart.

Everyone here, in fact, I think of often. Always to wish to my comic friends and their kids happiness and security wherever they are.

As do I. I have followed your story for as long as I can remember. and feel a bond to everyone here. I found actual joy in Jeff's vacation stuff with his young one, though I tend to avoid Facebook like the plague. I just hate that place.
 Cheesy
I also felt real emotion in the simple, yet thoughtful gift I received from Cow. This is a small ... very small ... very, very small community here  Grin (those darn busy people that can never find time to post!  Cheesy) but the guys that are here, the 5 or 6 of us ... yeah, I think of you all often.

Like Jimmy said, your always in my thoughts as well as you deal with this.  Sounds like your girl is a fighter like her old man so I have faith she'll get through this.

Again, thanks, man.  Smiley
Yeah, she WILL get through this, it is just tough always being the positive figure in the room when everything seems bad. I know you guys may not believe it, me being the "positive guy", but that is my role in this endeavor.
 Cheesy Cheesy

I read Grell Green Arrow vol 5 (still really enjoying this run!) and Hellblazer vol 13 (oh yeah, Warren Ellis stories. Day-um, are they good!)

Are you talking about the Lemire vol5? If so, I agree!!!! Good stuff!!!
Or are you talking about the Grell vol5? If so, I agree!!! Good Stuff!!!

Hahahaha, actually, I really need to revisit that entire Grell GA stuff. I am really getting fed up of the new comic scene . Even though I am honestly happy for DC's rise (As I truly hope it will benefit my Marvel books in the long run  Cheesy) I think my mood wanes, much like the monthly moon, as Marvel goes and aside from a few good, strong pieces, the puzzle is being ripped asunder by title over saturation, forced "youth hunt" tactics and yes, events.

I was thinking of starting the Mignola Universe (as I kinda remember you saying something about it awhile back ... I think ...) but I don't know.
 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I need something. Getting tired of Batman Inc right now, and I know that is a good run, but just not feeling that kinda story presently. Night Force is good, but I know I am limited on my time with that as the end comes far too soon. Legion? Maybe ... Hell ... I don't know. Just in a comic funk. Again, tied to Marvel.
 Cheesy

But now .. as for more of what I read  -

All-New X-Men #12

Batman, Inc #1
Batman, Inc #2
Batman, Inc #3
Future Quest #1
(re-read)
Future Quest #2
Future Quest #3
Flintstones #1
I must try more of this. Amazing potential. Shocked, but much better than Future Quest
