It's as good as old time "Peter Parker" as I have seen in years, even though there is no "Peter Parker".

But yes, it is like 1970's Amazing Spider-Man. All the issues of a regular high-school kid with the added problems of villains screwing up your day.

In-fact, I may finally join MU just to read all of his earlier "Ultimate" exploits that I missed. I love this kid that much.
And his damn best friend ... aarrhhh, that dude ... hahahaha, so like a guy I knew my first (and only) year of college it isn't funny. Well, no, it is funny.
