Damn, I just went to go read issue #2 of Karnak and realized I don't have it. Did some digging and found that it hasn't been released. Issue 1 came out in ... October? Found out there was a problem with the artist. I am sorry to hear about the original artist Zaffino having a bad go of it (family issues). Always sucks for us readers, but hey, things happen.
They have now replaced Zaffino with Roland Boschi, who is kinda similar, for issues 3 and possibly 4 (not sure if the original artist will be coming back on after).
I do understand you have to take care of family first, so I do hope all is well with Zaffino now, however.
