Bloodshot Reborn #1

I liked it. Smiley

A great feel of the Punisher Ellis with lots more soul-searching recrimination, and it allows me to jump on board with the character. Here goes!!

1-3 for $2.99 each. I can do that.

Also hit Star Trek Legion of Super Heroes 1-6 and the original Secret Wars (both only 99¢ each issue)  Cool

EDIT - Valiant's - Dead Drop #1 too.

Bloodshot: Reborn
Imperium
Ivar
Ninjak
Unity
X-O
Dead Drop (mini-series)

There. Okay?

Yeah, well this week saw me pick up Bloodshot 2, The Valiant 2 & 4 (no issue 3!  Angry ), and Ninjak #1. No issues of Unity on the shelf.

So, stuff is coming in pretty fast! Gotta look towards X-o Manowar #34 (new arc), and try Ivar Time Walker, since that's only at issue 5.

The Valiant (mini)

Eh...a very quick hit setting of the Valiant uiniverse, or at least a way to quickly do some ground-zero work. Some prior knowledge of how or why they are all here together may have helped, but having finished it now, I didn't find it to be a real winner. I like Gilad and Bloodshot, and some other interplay was cool with Aric and Archer (or was it ARmstrong? Just forgot), but nothing to really speak alot about here.

Bloodshot Reborn #2

Okay, THIS I'm coming to really like. Psychosis, a man discovering himself, or perhaps just realizing what he has always been, I dig this stuff.

Ninjak #1

Again, NO prior knowledge of this guy, but the flashbacks paralleling the current storyline, plus the 'Secret Files' thing in the back has me super interested to come back for the second...and third issue right away. Cheesy

Well Glad I missed this one then. Whew.

Yeppers. This is just a really good book. Although, I also really enjoyed the first 8 or 9 issues of the first run before it got to the point were I felt I wouldn't miss it if I dropped it ... and I didn't, so I am hoping this doesn't follow and make this a trend. Of course that was also when I was "Ebay watching" and seeing that Valiant wasn't re-selling well, so that helped my decision.

But for now, this may be my favorite Valiant title ... although the first three issues of Unity put that title right up there with this one. (I just need to get caught up with that darn thing)

Ninjak is a fun character for me mainly due to the MI6 aspect. He is like the ultimate James Bond. A young ninja Sean Connery  Grin Tech coming out of his butt with mad ninja skills. Plus his look is just damn cool. The only character I even thought about reading back in the first wave of Valiant comics as it had art by Joe Quesada.

Hey Jimmy/Jeff Ha, that's my new southern name for you two ... Mr Jimmy-Jeff ... HAHA He sounds like a Stephen King character. One who is a child molester/killer - "Look out for Mister Jimmy-Jeff, chi'dren. You do somfin bad after 11:00 on dem Monday nights, he comes to yo house and he getcha when you'se sleepin, when you'se donspect it!!!"

Cheesy ... anywho

Just saw where second and third prints of Divinity 1 and 2 are hitting comic shops this Wednesday. Look through those puppies, or look through the 1st printings if your shops still have those. You may end up wanting to buy it. I think it is a pretty cool story and is only a four issue mini, but I am seeing where the main character is starting to come into the Valiant universe more. It is part Red Son and part FF (but with one person ... so ... Part FO? haha)

Check it out. Flip through.

I had read one of the previews for Divinity and I agree - it looked like something I would like.  Aw hell, what's one more title?
