So,

Recent Avengers stories are picking up on Professor X. Still very powerful, but suffering from the strain of the present situation. Still not my favored choice, but a better version than I have seen in a long while.

Wonder if there will be a place for him in Marvel Now.

I hope so.  I'm glad they are finally bringing him into this.  I've long said there is no way he would just sit in the background and let Scott go down the path he has been going.  About time!  IMO

We shall see.

I may not agree with it, but there has been a plausible explanation for why he has been slow to act up to this point. What I loved most was how he handled both sides of the warring superhumans including a member of the Phoenix Five without batting an eye.

Now, that is Professor X.
