Joe Kubert passed away at age 85.  huge loss to everyone who knew him and the industry as a whole.  his like will not been seen again.  links to CBR article below:

One of the first artists I grew to recognize in his art form. I could look at a cover and know it was his work even when I was just getting started in comics. That alone makes him one of a kind to me.
