WOW!  My number of Independents has passed my number of DC Comics this month.  And 4 of my DC issues are only because DCBS ran a special on the 4 Before Watchmen issues.  This does not bode well for my friends at DC.

Here's my list so far:

     Before Watchmen: Comedian #1
     Before Watchmen: Nite Owl #1
BATMAN #10
BATWOMAN #10
EARTH TWO #2
GREEN LANTERN #10 - honestly, I'm starting to get bored with this one too.   Angry
SCALPED #60 (MR) - I think this is the final issue of the series.
SUICIDE SQUAD #10

Dropped Justice League, Worlds Finest, and Swamp Thing this month

MARVEL - 18 Issues
AVENGERS VS X-MEN #5 (OF 12)
AVENGERS VS X-MEN #6 (OF 12)
DAREDEVIL #14
FANTASTIC FOUR #607
HIT-GIRL #1 (MR)
NEW AVENGERS #27
SECRET AVENGERS #28

WINTER SOLDIER #6
WINTER SOLDIER #7

X-FACTOR #238

Independents - 11 Issues; 2 TPBs
FATALE #6 (MR)
INVINCIBLE #93
MANHATTAN PROJECTS #4
MIND THE GAP #2 CVR A
NEXT MEN AFTERMATH #44
RACHEL RISING #9
SAGA #4 (MR)
SECRET #3
SHADOW #3
THIEF OF THIEVES #5
WALKING DEAD #99 (MR)

FABLES TP VOL 17 INHERIT THE WIND (MR)
MORNING GLORIES TP VOL 03 P.E.

Dropped TRIO this month (had to get issue 1 but unless it blows me away, can't see myself really enjoying this on regular basis)

I was able to purge the urge to add the BEFORE WATCHMEN titles. Great deal on those suckers however.

So far, and I expect little change from this, here is what my order looks like -

DC - 10 issues

AMERICAN VAMPIRE #28
AMERICAN VAMPIRE LORD OF NIGHTMARES #1
AQUAMAN #10
BATMAN #10
DIAL H #2
EARTH TWO #2
GREEN LANTERN #10
GREEN LANTERN CORPS #10
JUSTICE LEAGUE #10 ...........  Roll Eyes
SWAMP THING #10

MARVEL - 9 issues (6 titles)  Roll Eyes

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #687
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #688
AVENGERS VS X-MEN #5
AVENGERS VS X-MEN #6
CAPTAIN AMERICA #13
DAREDEVIL #14
FANTASTIC FOUR #607
WINTER SOLDIER #6
WINTER SOLDIER #7

INDY's - 14 issues

DANGER CLUB #2
DANGER CLUB #3
FATALE #6
GLORY #27
MANHATTAN PROJECTS #4
MIND THE GAP #2
PROPHET #26
RACHEL RISING #9
SAGA #4
SECRET #3
SHADOW #3
STAR TREK ONGOING #10
SUPREME #65
THE SPIDER #2

Cut

WORLDS FINEST - Miss Power Girls old look. Yes, that may sound (and be) perverted, but true
TRIO - Just hate characters with blade hands. Other than, of course...

 Smiley

May still add

KISS #1 (Yes, a sucker for that crap)
PANTHA #1
CREATOR OWNED HEROES #1
THE MASSIVE #1

(Damn Justice League is just killing me. On for now ... but god damn that last issue was so dreadful....)
 Undecided

Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!!!!!   I came so close to adding KISS #1 also.  They are coming to Dallas in August a d I've never seen them in person.  Dieing to go but I may have to go alone.  My friends and family look at me like I've got three eyes when I ask if they want to go.   Grin

I'm thinking they'll release the Shazam backups in a TPB at some point and I'll just get it then.  Can't justify spending the money for a backup story and the JLA stories are Johns worst.

Motley Crue/Kiss here July 21st(?) or real close to my birthday. It is the second stop on the tour, so they should be a little fresher than towards the end ... with those over 60 year old knees.
 Cheesy

Seen KISS 4 times and that last one, the one after 'reunion', was pretty non-spectacular. But if you have never been, you have to see them. If nothing else for the pyro
 Grin
Seen Motley 4 times as well. Opening for ... Bon Jovi ... maybe? then headlining with Ratt then Autograph then split tour with Ozzy
Yep, I'm going.

(Never seen a good Ozzy show however. He was okay with Crue, but SUCKED with Anthrax)

you know, for the longest time, i was digging marvels "essentials" line.  cheap books with many issues covered and i could just read the crap out of them.  but now that i have cut my monthly order down CONSIDERABLY (thanks "events" and "crossovers"  Wink) i find that i can go back and get the masterworks line in the TPB format.  not as many issues as with the essentials, but the same price and better paper and color.  i only hope that marvel will continue this format and keep cranking out titles.  can't wait for captain marvel and iron fist in this format.
