At least it's a full, and complete story.

Guess the sales weren't enough to pay Bendis and Maleev's rates from what I gather....it all boils down to money.

Actually tried to post from work but cant get past your new security (proxy server error).  had a nice rant going about how i think the $4 cover price on the book made it impossible to maintain an audience, no matter who is writing.  Come on, no matter how much I loved the character he still freaking MoonKnight.

Still sucks to lose yet another MK title I was enjoying the story overall but I think the TV Producer thing was weird and never really developed and Bendis played Marc a bit too crazy.

oh well...hopefully they'll get the right team on him and he'll be back.  The Moon always rises.

Yes, And I know they're thinking if Bendis couldn't sell it to the numbers we wanted, what chance would another, lesser known writer have but damn it put another writer/artist on it, lower the price to $2.99 and ride it for another 12 issues. I know it is just angry/sad me talking, but damn it.  Cry

I wouldn't mind seeing what Rick Remender or Jason Aaron could do with Moon Night.  That's a series I would pick up.

But no-one would really jump 'on' to a title that already has 12 issues. This is what Marvel has done. They have ruined any chance of a series "coming back strong" because they cancel and start (or I mean re-start) so damn many titles.

I understand the idea if a comic is selling poorly, you have to cut bait, and yes, sales were slipping, but it was still out selling that bullshit Red Hulk crap !!!!! Why is that still around?

If you put Waid on this book (the writer of Daredevil) his cost would be slightly lower. You put another artist on this book whose cost is also slightly lower and you lower the damn book to the $2.99 price it should have been all along, and book sales will rise or at least steady and then you, gosh how about this ... promote a book.

Bendis has done something really cool with this character, really out there, and I thought I would hate it, but I love it and now it is shit.
