in the good ole queue -

AVENGING SPIDER-MAN #2
DEFENDERS #1
MOON KNIGHT #8
PUNISHER #6

DETECTIVE COMICS #4
ANIMAL MAN #4
SWAMP THING #4

First time in a long time I am getting more Marvel than DC in a weeks time. Of course I just canceled two of those Marvel books, so there is that.

Is the "new" Animal Man as good as the hype it's getting?
What do you think of Stormwatch?

I like it.  It's very different.  Kind of a mystical/twisted/evil kind of thing.

Not much.  Just kind of finishing out the arc then I'll probably drop it.

Combined with SWAMP THING (and soon they will be) for style and atmosphere, it is one of the top ten DC books for me.

As I said, that art was/is rough. But after reading issue 2, and finding a way to allow the art to illuminate the theme of the book and not rely on it to highlight it, I am really liking it. The book, not the art.

Its like the new DD. I didn't enjoy the art of Rivera right out of the gate, but I have since learned to enjoy it in the style of the story. Love it now in fact.
