finaly finsihed Avengers thru season 1 and it has been a wonderful experience.  Really enjoying this show.  Reminds me very much of the X-Men show of the 90s.  Staying true to the storylines where possible with some nice twists to keep it interesting.  Looking forward to season 2.  Anyone know when it is supposed to start?

Friday is looking busy:
Thundercats roars to it's premire on CN at 7 (CST)
Also looking forward to catching IronMan and Wolverine on G4 at 10 (CST)

Ultimate S-M should be good as well as the 6mins i saw of Green Lantern

It's a great time to be a comic fan with so many properties on TV and in the movies and most done very well, its just a lot of fun and far removed from the barren days of the 70-80s when the best you could hope for was SuperFriends and Amazing Friends.  of course we had some great stuff, just not comic related...Speed Racer in the early days, then Battle of the Planets, StarBlazers, Force Five and eventually Transformers, GI Joe and the original Thundercats.

So...what are you watching, enjoying, hating?

Think I'll go out and buy a DVD of Fire & Ice this weekend (2disc with "painting with fire" documentary) by tape is not the best quality anymore Smiley

Also LOVING all the marvel additons to NetFlix, they just added to 60's Spidey toon, come on and sing it with me...Spiderman, spiderman, does whatever a spider can...

like a kid in a candy store. Smiley

If I could attach a .wma file i would as we used a variation of that theme for our commercials when I owned my comic shop

I caught the new Thundercats - enjoyed it.

Not as crazy-anything-goes as the original, however it's a more streamlined fantasy show.

Though in the age where we have new Thundercats and Game of Thrones - how long before we get a fanfic, furry porn mash-up?

It's these questions that keep me up at night!

BTW I heard the old school 60's Marvel cartoons where only the mouths move is also on Netflix now.

I saw an episode of Batman Brave and Bold hosted by Bat-Mite a week or so back, and it was the funniest/weirdest cartoon I've seen in a while!

Harks back to the old Scooby Doo/Batman guest role.....and even features Weird Al Yankovic!
