What is the premise behind Fear Itself? After two issues, are you enjoying it?

Sin(Red Skull's daughter) summons a long forgotten villain named the Serpent.  He considers himself to be the true leader of the Asgardians, and is transforming many heroes/villains alike to do his bidding.  Odin seems to retreat to Asgard, and drags Thor unwillingly with him, and the heroes and regular people alike are left to defend themselves, which causes a growing fear throughout the world.

Still a bit of set-up through issue #2, but I do like it.
