ISSUE #2This is just not reading like a PAD book. Yes, the humor is there, even if it is toned-down, but the flow is just different from what I have ever read from PAD. Maybe it's my total lack of caring for any of these characters, save Pietro. Maybe it's just the plot of this title. Maybe it's just me. Regardless of the reason, I am just not enjoying this like I want to.
The art, while not for everyone, still has not left me sour so I can't blame the art for my lack of enjoyment. True, it is certainly stylized, but not in a distracting manner to me (though I can see how it may be for others).
And Gambit ... drop the damn jacket already.
Oh well, I suppose it is for the best that I'm not finding the "fun" in this title as I need not worry about wanting to add it to my pull, but still, as a PAD fan, it saddens me that this just doesn't feel like a PAD book.
Once again, an average book
