Hmmm.  I’m not sure if the Marvel calendar was wrong again or if not everything dropped because of the new holiday.  I’ll add the one that dropped but wasn’t on my list but hold off on deleting any until I know for sure that they won’t drop tomorrow.

Marvel Unlimited
ADD: Eternals: The Heretic #1
Maestro World War M #2
Devil’s Reign: X-Men #3
Uncanny X-Men (1987) #220
Uncanny X-Men (1987) #221
Uncanny X-Men (1987) #222

DC Universe Infinite

Batman: The Imposter #3
The Joker #10
Adventures of Superman Annual #2 (1990) - L.E.G.I.O.N / Superman crossover part 1
L.E.G.I.O.N. Annual #1 (1990) - L.E.G.I.O.N / Superman crossover part 2

ComiXology Unlimited
Black Hammer: Reborn #12

Hoopla
The Ghost in You: Reckless Book 4 TPB
Bone Orchard: The Passageway TPB

Fable by Johnathon Hickman
Ruins by Johnathon Hickman

------------------------------------------------------

Black Hammer: Reborn #12 - We’ll all righty then.  One series ends and sets us up for what could be the final series for Lemire’s Black Hammer tale.  Looking forward to seeing how this all wraps up.

Fable by Johnathon Hickman - off to good start.  Nothing like a little mystery to build intrigue and interest.  This first book is only 8 pages but the art is nice.  I’m in.

Ruins by Johnathon Hickman -  continues the story from Fable.  I see now these are all different chapters of the same story.  An exploration of this universe while following a mystery.  This one was 13 pages.  Very science fiction centric.

Robin & Batman #2 - Awesome book.  And I agree with Alfred.  Batman's a b@st@rd.   ;D

Batman: The Imposter #3 - Final issue.  And what a great one it was.  Sorrentino's art is just amazing to look at.  The Imposter's identity is revealed and the story ends well.

Eternals: The Heretic #1 - Good book.  A supplement to the main book with the history of the older Eternals, the grand parents.  Gillen keeps the quality high with this group.

The Joker #10 - Weird flashback story that didn’t seem to have anything to do with the current arc in this book.  I’m sure it will fit in somehow but I found it kind of disappointing.

Uncanny X-Men (1987) #220  - Good one shot as Storm returns to Dallas to confront Forge for taking her powers.  I'm having a lot of fun re-reading these classic Uncanny X-Men stories!

Adventures of Superman Annual #2 (1990) - L.E.G.I.O.N / Superman crossover part 1 - Remember the days when an Annual had three stories - but they were all chapters of the same story?!  Well that's what we got here!  Vril Dox and his LEGION come to Earth looking for his father, Vril Dox Sr - or as we know him - Brainiac!  Misunderstandings of course start it all off when Lobo is involved resulting in a lot of battles with Superman!

L.E.G.I.O.N. Annual #1 (1990) - L.E.G.I.O.N / Superman crossover part 2 - The big conclusion. Multiple chapters as well and the big face off between Vril Dox and Brainiac.  This is really a lot of fun to read.  Even with the cheesey '90's dialogue!

Lets get me all caught up!~!

Daredevil Woman without Fear 3 DAMMIT I HATE KRAVEN!!! And I always will.  At least she kicks his @ss though!!!

Strange 1 Whoops, still haven't finished this

Cap/Iron Man 4 I've been enjoying it so far! AND wow, what writing to really throw the wrench into the works, take it down a new road, WOW great work in the writing department!

DC INFINITE

Nightwing Annual 2021  Always glad to see all the 'brothers' bounce off each other in one on one tales. ALWAYS love these stories. This one was pretty good, not the most amazing, but really good still.

Robin 2021 Annual A decent piece showing the other Island players more, and it gives the briefest hints at the connections this Deathstroke wannabe may have

Detective Comics Annual 2021 This was ...okay.Eh, not really, it just set up the next pitch for what Batman comics will be. But a forgettable issue, I think.

Batman Annual 2021...what the hell...

The Joker Annual 2021...what the F-!..

Wonder Woman Annual 2021...ok, maybe, LOL

Doing the slide over technique with my list, my ever growing list, to see what I was able to knock out.

I need to post more, but I feel bad when I come on here and can only report I read 1 comic  >:(

Anyway, here is what I've hit since last time... and once again, I end up having subtracted fewer issues (seven) than I add to the list (fourteen... or twenty-six if you break down the trades)  :(. I just WANT to read these issues so badly. This is how the list builds to the point of explosion.

Human Target - Ha! Forgot I had already read this one at the LCS, but I read the entire thing again, as it pulls you in so easily.

Dark Knights of Steel - Well now, didn't expect to see THAT character being the one to do THAT  :D This is so good

Joker - Like Jeff said a "look back" issue that I swore I had read before. I mean it just seemed way too familiar. Didn't Snyder do this in one of his earlier issues? Maybe not, I knw I have seen this, or something very much like this before, but damn if I can remember when/where. Still liked it, but... yeah

King of Spies - Loved the first three issues, but did not enjoy the ending. Not because of who got what, but it just felt too damn clean with its ending. No emotional resonance at all, just... done  :P

Daredevil Woman without Fear 3

Cap/Iron Man 4

Strange 1  I loved this !! I love seeing non Earth humans not being written as part of the Judeo-Christian white american culture! Clea's attitude is great!! And that ending really hit strong, and I hope it heralds a big change for character(s)!

Amazing Spider-man 92.1 Why Monica Rambeau here? Just to have loose connections to Nextwave...and I'm really okay with that!  :D

Punisher 1 This could be dangerous territory...like, will we look back at this and think "ugh, this was like the God's Angel Punisher" but maybe not! If not, well, I was jazzed reading this. :D

Batman 118 Cool new status quo for Batman with Williamson. I dug it!

Batman Annual 2021 Couldn't stand the art, and most of the issue isn't needed, but seeing Ghost-Maker's history and revenge was just SUCH a payoff!

The Joker Annual 2021 Eh. Meh. Same with Joker 10. Eh and Meh. Art was a real, real downer.

Wonder Woman 782 another pretty decent ish, with seeing Psycho become a new factor of stress in this world. Seeing Diana being buddy buddy with Deadman is an odd and fun pairing!

Batman Urban Legends 10 I love Time Drake stories. A very good Tweedle Dee and Dum story. Crap, did I finish this issue? LOL

Robin and Batman 2  Awesome! So sad it's only 2 issues!

Superman Son of Kal-El Annual Great Annual! Great moves by Jon versus Luthor! Loved it!

Batman '89 4 I like the movie tie-in book that this is, and I enjoy reading it still!!

Green Lantern 9 This is junk. Tom Raney used to be a good artist; what is this dreck? What is this lantern mythos? I need to go read Johns work to wash this out of my mouth

Suicide Squad 10 You guys kinda got on me to read the Squad, and seeing Superboy come to the title, I came to the title. And I still enjoy reading the title! With some really good art! I am onboard with all these machinations occurring!

Swamp Thing 10 I'll read this through to the last issue.

Dark Knights of Steel 2 More lore wrinkles and changes, and what big set ups occurring! Cool reading!

Batman The Imposter 3 What a series. How Brutal. And sad. And defeating. But a good Batman read. However...

HOOPLA

I read
Batman Earth 1 Book 2 Did they base Pattinson's movie off this book? Feels like they did! I really enjoyed reading it. But reading this after The Imposter just seems to show more and more, (what I've always felt), that Batman may not really ever succeed....and how much is a bigger failure than Bruce Wayne? He's got WAY more money than his parents, and look at what they did with their fortunes? I think Bruce doesn't try that route becuase A) he's too angry and broken as a human and B) he's reallly afraid of failing in the memory of his parents. That he knows he can't care like they did, and he knows he can't succeed like them, and he doesn't want to fail them again.

Once and Future vol 2 Wow, that threw me for a loop with how that really turned around at the end! LOL what a story! Love this stuff!

Starting Something is Killing the Children right now....

Dark Crisis: Young Justice #1... I remember being hooked on this title when it debuted in '98. Fun characters, decent art, and another version of the Teen Titans. This first issue reads just like that old series, but I just can't get hooked. I don't think I will be getting the rest of this series.

Multiversity: Teen Justice #1... The premise is a gender-swapped Earth. Pretty good characters and I would love to see this as a regular series, not just a mini.

The Ghost in You: Reckless Book 4 TPB - Brubaker and Phillips have to be the best creative team.  Right up there with Claremont & Byrne and Wolfman $ Perez. This series is great and this book keeps up the quality.  Ethan and Anna have become favorite characters (up there with Erica Slaughter) and in this book, Anna takes center stage!  Fun mystery about an old mansion and whether or not it’s haunted.  Complete with an Elvira styled owner.  Decent ending but the journey is what makes it all worthwhile.

Bone Orchard: The Passageway TPB - I’m baffled.  But what a ride.  Lemire & Sorrentino might be the next great creative pair.  The visuals are just so amazing.  This is the first in a series of mystery horror books.  It’s very much like Gideon Falls.  I’m looking forward to the next book.

I have gone to my way way back machine to read DC from periods I've missed.

I'm into the Jurgens era Justice League, when he was writing/doing art breakdowns...while also writing/drawing fully 'Superman' , leading up to and through the Death, Reign, and Return of Superman

Justice League America 64--78. This was Jurgen's run. Not amazing, but I liked reading it, as the JL stories were kept small, Guy Gardner had no character to work with, and Bloodwynd had been introduced, and then the mystery revealed in Jurgen's last 2 issues. Then, new wrtier took over at 78...and it was all down hill, in terms of story, and TERRIBLE 90s art. I briefed into the story of Tora's death, and said good bye to the title. It was ended at 92 I Think , or at least, the app doens't even have the full run of stories loaded up through then, so it must be poor stuff!!

I've decided to move back over to Superboy! Kon-El! I loved Karl Kesel and Tom Grummett on this title, and going back to see Conner as a teen is really cool to see. I'd still like to move past the brooding sulky angry guy we have today. But Iv'e already gone through

Superboy 1-8; as I have already read this several times, so it's all a breathe of fresh air to come back to it. One, I loved his costume at the time, and the fact he looks like a teen! However, taking place on Hawaii, and the coloring skills at the time, the Pacific Islander skin tones leave so much to be desired.  Also, there was the Worlds Collide 2 parter with Milestone that interfered with the frist 6 months of the title, as well as Zero Hour, so I'm looking forward to getting past all this!!

Superboy 9-21 ; barely reading this, just being reminded what I've already read. :D I'm getting close to where I was done with the title, I feel it!!
