Unbelievable Unteens #4 - Not a bad ending. I know Perry didn’t like this but I enjoyed it.

Deep Beyond #10 of 12 -Whoa! An unexpected plot twist!  Good issue rolling towards the end.

Primordial #3 of 6 - I liked this issue.  Like most Lemire tales, it’s a slow burn but feels worth it. More progression with the animals in space and likewise with the scientists on earth.

Clear #3 - not really enjoying this as much as I should be.  It’s not a bad story but somehow I’m jut getting interested.  Maybe I’m not as much of a fan of Snyder as everyone else?

House of Slaughter #2 - I’m not finding Jace is Aaron as interesting as Erica Slaughter but seeing the machinations of the House gives this series a bump.  Still liking this overall.

Stray Bullets: Sunshine & Roses #37 - back on the road again with Beth, Nina, and Orson. And things are going bad as usual.

Stray Bullets: Sunshine & Roses #38 - The last Amy Racecar story as we finally understand what it’s all about and how it fits into Beth’s life.  Excellent.

Stray Bullets: Sunshine & Roses #39 - Annie, Vic, Love, Chandra, and Kretch - the pieces are all starting to fall together.  The series is racing to the end and it’s getting more exciting!

Stray Bullets: Sunshine & Roses #40 - Annie, Vic, Love, Kretch, Chandra, Spanish Scott, Orson, Beth - this one has almost everyone! Everyone is closing in on Beth, the money, and the drugs. Big ending has to be coming!

Stray Bullets: Sunshine & Roses #41 - All the characters are in the same place now and the sh!t has officially hit the fan.  That big ending I was predicting? Yeah, it’s arrived!

Stray Bullets: Sunshine & Roses #42 - Ahhh.  And now we’ve come full circle.  Great second series.  This final issue came out in Aug of 2020 with a third series called Virginia planned.  Not sure if Covid is the reason it got delayed or not but I can only assume that’s why.  If and when it’s released I’ll definitely be there.

Serial #9 - (edit - added just now. I was trying to wait, still going to try and hold off for a week or so  ;D)

************************************

Iron Man #12 - Ummmm, okay... yeah. Not gonna sugar coat it, this sucked ass. I did enjoy the issue prior to this, but I could see where I was getting a little worried and with this issue, not only did all the worry come to the forefront, it went worse than I thought it would. I will certainly read the last issue of this arc that will (hopefully) be in the next issue, but... yeah...  :-\

Eternals: Thanos Rises - A very in-depth history of Thanos' mommy and daddy  ;D Almost got a little confusing, but I slowed down, swiped back on or two times to the chart  :D and was able to not only understand it all, but gobble it all up!

Nightwing #81 - This is the penultimate issue of my purchases. The next issue is where I stopped buying this title day of release and started the process of the excruciating 6 months wait. I was originally going to make this issue my last (the last one I paid for I mean  ;)) but I just had to postpone my switching to DCI and grab the issue after this one almost completely because of the way this one ended. This was probably my favorite issue so far. Not solely due to the ending, but also everything between the covers. From the little nuances of the art (like the t-shirt Barbara is wearing when Dick wakes up  :D :D to the names of the boats to the art change all the way to the pup being just so damn... puppy'ish) all the way to the just damn brilliant F'n writing, this is one DC book I just look for month after month. A true gem!!

Magic Order 4-6 - I had forgotten most everything about this title, including what a great damn mini-series it is. I must have never finished this the first time (maybe?) as it my way at times, because this truly hit me hard this time through. Really one of Millar's best in my eyes. I have already snagged the first issue of the next volume but I am going to try... TRY to wait for this new series to be completed before starting it. If it is half as good as this one I will have no complaints.
Of course now I want a Zatanna book this well done
 :)

I remember reading this back in the day but can’t remember what my final thoughts were.  I didn’t realize a second series was out.  Sounds like something I should get.

I would most certainly suggest a reread of the first one. I am not sure if the new volume will be a continuation or a new story but you can't go wrong reading it again. You either get a good story and familiarize yourself with the goings on for the new arc or, if it is a new story, one not connected to the first volume, you get a good story.
Win/win
 :D

knocked out a DC reread (good) and a few new Marvel (bad)...

************************************

J.L Dark (JL #59 back up) - Okay, yeah, now I remember  :D Good setup for a story

Wolverine #15 - Okay, yeah, now I remember  :(  I dove back in as I still have the desire to try and follow the Main Mutant of Marvel. I had forgotten how much I don't enjoy Percy's writing. I just can't do it. Wolverine cut again

Fantastic Four #36 - Flipped open the book (well, clicked the page  ;D) and had a good feeling at first. I just swiped a few pages to preview and the art was pretty good, even... familiar. It looked a little bit like Marvel's "Four". The MK imprint of the Fantastic Four by RAS and Steve McNiven back in the day. Not everything, mainly Susan and her poses and hair, but yeah, some McNiven is here. Some of the art even looked like the old X-Men artist Paul Smith (VH1 please do a "Where Are They Now" on him!). Yes, Johnny looks kinda weird. A little off. Much different looking (and no I don't like it), but hey Ben Grimm has not looked this good in a loooong ass time. Yeah, I dug the art. A McNiven/Smith merger. Cool!
I then went back, started over and read it.
It's a'ight. Nothing grand. There are structure problems, but it is Slott, there is going to be. Meh

Moon Knight #3 - Ugh. I really like the character MK and I know him (all versions of himself  :D) pretty well. This is not MK. Not sure what is up with it, I like the writer. I think he is doing a banging job on Black Cat, but I think he needs to stay over there. After enjoying the first issue, I now find that this isn't doing it for me. It doesn't help that the art is so damn bad. I love some stylized art. But what I am getting here is an artist trying to do another artists (Bill Sienkiewicz) and not getting there. Yes the sharp angles and slashes are there, but it isn't close to Bill. The shadowing is off, the angles are not right. It does nothing for me.
I'm still going to try and stay on for a few more issues, hoping we get a change of... something, but I am worried this isn't for me. And hey, that's okay. Always next time
 :)

I may add Kang to my MU list. Timeless came out today (which I didn't pick up) and I am curious to see its connections.
