Title: BLOODSTRIKE
Post by: Perry on July 08, 2015, 12:03:17 PM
Yes, I actually started a thread about Rob Liefeld. Well, about his new comic. I have yet to read what I am sure will be a solid gem of a book featuring solid writing and Supreme art (see what I did there?), but I have seen the solicit for it.

"X-Force, Cable, and Deadpool creator ROB LIEFELD returns to comics with a new ONGOING series, a lively romp that reveals a more mature side to LIEFELD than fans have previously experienced. A new recruit to the Bloodstrike program, (his identity as a mystery man from the historical Extreme Universe soon to be revealed!) struggles on a covert mission and loses his life as well as his junk to the mysterious TRAGEDY ANN!"

Yes, when you want to start being taken seriously, it is best to go right for the groin. It is not enough that this guy loses his life, but he also has to lose his "junk"? Who knows, maybe Rob meant his "junk" in the possessive, like his "stuff" or his "clothes" that he had in a suitcase or briefcase maybe?

I honestly can't wait to read this. Honestly. And I really want Rob to succeed as he is a really good guy. And I mean that as well. Dude treats his fans better than anyone ever has, but man ... this "junk" is off to a junky start. Looks like nothing has changed here except instead of it being 1994 it is 2015. you would think after 21 years ...

Edit - Of course on the opposite end of the spectrum ... I can't wait to read THIS (http://comicbookroundup.com/comic-books/reviews/dark-horse-comics/negative-space/1)
