Slingshot is caught in a trap set by some powerful men who bear a grudge against her adopted father. The rest of Dynamo 5 wants to help her, but there’s one person standing in their way: Maddie Warner.  (from solicitation)

Dynamo 5 continues to be one of my favorite super-hero books every month.  Jay takes an old school approach to the book and the results continue to impress.  The art by Asrar is consistently good, and it's nice to see one artist's work in every issue.

On to issue 11.  This issue has a few surprises.  The "leader" that's been gathering the villians together the last couple of issues if finally revealed, and I won't give it away, but it's a blast from the past.  The team shows a great amount of loyalty to each other, which may cause problems for Maddie in the future, but there actions are realistic and the drama element makes sense.

The art this issue is once again really good, with Asrar and Riley doing a great job.  The colors are nice, the art is consistent and it adds to the story.  The action scenes vibrate, and you can see the drama were appropriate.

All in all Dynamo 5 continues to be one of the best super-hero team books on the shelves today.  Pick it up and give it a try, you might like it.
