Earth Vader #3

Hmmm, I am kinda interested in what that "Earth Vader" comic is about. Surprised I didn't hear about the first two issues. Is it a play on "Invader"? Let us know how it is

X-Men #14 - Good issue. More origins of Arrako.  It’s starting to come together.

Marauders #14 - Another good issue.  I had my doubts at first but the story is moving finally and the last page at last has some action.  Looking forward to how this plays out.

Hey man, just curious, if ... IF DC does go to the 3 months after initial release like Marvel just has, would you then go away from the floppies? Just wondering as from a price point of view, for ... what ... $15 bucks or less a month you can get all the books you like to buy from DC and/or Marvel (plus almost every other book they publish). Just curious if you would make the switch. And if not, is it because you are not a fan of digital reading or is it that you are more a fan of the floppy
 Smiley
Either is, of course, fine, but again, just curious.
 Smiley

As for me, I didn't get to the two I wanted to get to (the two X books), but I did knock out a couple:

DCeased #4 - Whoa!! Now that's a bigg'a meat'a'ball Grin
Injustice Year Zero #9 - Kinda, sorta what we read in issue #2  Tongue
Strange Adventure #6 - Yeah, this is some slow burn reading right 'chere'
Suicide Squad #10 - Couldn't wait. had to read this issue. DAMN IT. Rushed is what this was  Embarrassed
Detective Comics #1029 - I am going to have to do some research (I won't) on whether the Bat has ever shot the pointy ears from his cwol out like rockets, to stick into bad guys to stop them and then, oh boy, and then go over and pluck them out and place them back on top of his head? Man ....

Venom #3 - Yeah, okay, this is going to take over Marvel soon. I mean more than it already has. Knull is the new Thanos, the new "it" baddy. And he is going to permeate the MU and while I hate to say this, I am looking forward to it!! I've never been a Venom fan, but this ... yeah, there is something here for me.
 Smiley

EDIT - I had wrote DCeased #5 but I had actually read #4 ... I just got #5 a few moments ago

Nailbiter Returns #5 - Good issue bringing everyone together with lots of action.  Closing in on the unknown bad guy.

Batman: Three Jokers #3 - An ok ending but I left feeling a little unsatisfied.  Didn’t end as good as the lead up to it was.

Rorschach #1 - I liked this issue.  Interesting mystery starting out.

That Texas Blood #4 - slow moving issue putting all the pieces in place.  I enjoyed the character development.

X-Ray Robot #2 - I love a good time travel story.  This one is shaping up to be a crazy good one.

Rai #8 - Interesting new arc with the new Fusion character.  Intro issue and things will heat up next issue.

DCeased: Hope at Worlds End #13 - Odd numbered issue but surprisingly not terrible.  This art is wearing thin on me though.

DCeased: Dead Planet #5 - Not one of the better issues but still ok moving the story along.

Adventureman #4 - I’m too confused by this story.  Not a favorite at this time.  Might read better in trade.

Empyre #3 - getting bored with this story already.

Captain Marvel #18 - Interesting tie-in even if it makes no sense to send her on this mission.

Empyre: Captain America #1 - dialogue isn’t good on this one.  Not very interesting either.

Spider-Man Noir #2 - over the top dialogue.  Trying too hard to sound like a Bogart movie.  The issue is saved with this cliff hanger.  I want to see how this villain works in this universe.

Darth Vader #3 - this is interesting since we are getting to find out the fates of Padme’s court that we got to know in the prequels.  Throw this in the like category.

I picked up #22 and #23. It's an interesting story set in the future. I'm thinking about adding this to my pull and dropping WW and Justice League (after Endless Winter).

The Green Lantern #5 & 6 - End of the Blackstar arc.  Excellent.  I’m starting to enjoy Morrison on Green Lantern.

The Green Lantern #7 - single issue story dealing with the results of the finale to the last arc.  How’s that for no spoilers?  Fun epilogue.

The Green Lantern #8 - Another single issue story!  Green Arrow / Green Lantern team-up just like the ‘70’s!  And a trippy Doom Patrol feel to the story.  A fun retro team-up that I enjoyed.

--------------------------------------------

Batman & the Outsiders #6 - End of the first arc.  A little choppy for me since I started when it was first published and am just now catching up.  But I like where it’s going.  Looking forward to some Ras Al Gul.

Hawkman #17 - End of the Shadow Thief arc.  Good issue and leads up to what I think is the issue that got Perry hooked, #18.

Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen #2 - Not as good as the first issue but not terrible either.

The Terrifics #12 - Good place to jump back in as the team gets back together.  Basic starting point for the next arc.

Flash #80 - an ok issue.  Probably better than I’m giving it credit for because I just don’t like the art.  It’s painful to look at.  But Prof Zoom, the Rogues, and the Black Flash.  Can’t be all bad right?

Metal Men #1 - Hmmm.  Not sure if I like this yet.  Going to read a couple more issues before I decide.
