Boss is out of town so I might get to read more this week. (Meaning I won’t have to join meetings off hours)  Cheesy

Going to Read Wolverine The Long Night to see how Percy is writing Wolverine. See if it persuades me to pick up the new series now or wait til it hits MU.

Oh boy, lots to say ...  Grin Too much even?  Cheesy

Boss is out of town so I might get to read more this week. (Meaning I won’t have to join meetings off hours)  Cheesy

SWEET!!!  Cool

Going to Read Wolverine The Long Night to see how Percy is writing Wolverine. See if it persuades me to pick up the new series now or wait til it hits MU.

Wait!
Easy
 Grin
Just kidding, it may hit great for you!! I hope, as I know you like the character.

Batman #90

YUK!!!
Again, maybe it will hit for you. And again, I hope so  Smiley

Isola #10

Wait. Not enough to read. Less than usual.  Undecided

1. Tales from the Dark Multiverse: Batman: Knightfall #1

This was just okay to me

2. Tales from the Dark Multiverse: Death of Superman #1

This was as well

3. Tales from the Dark Multiverse: Blackest Night #1

Can't remember ... I started it, but think I never got back to it  Undecided Not sure if that is good or bad?

4. Tales from the Dark Multiverse: Infinite Crisis #1

Didn't read this one. No idea why? Hmmm, must have just forgotten about it?

5. Tales from the Dark Multiverse: Teen Titans: The Judas Contract #1

Way more brutal this time around, but my favorite as well.  Grin

Marvel Comic #1000

An interesting idea, that I hope hits better on MU (because it is free ... kinda  Grin) It wasn't bad, but yeah, more a pretty interesting idea than great. But some of the pages were cool. The next one though? #1001 ... BAH!!!

Batman #90 - This was at least better than the last two.  We find out the history of the classic villains with the new villain.  I was planning on dropping after this arc but I'm curious enough now about the new villain to hold my judgement.

Birthright #41 - Get a little bit of origin for Lore which changes your perspective of the chosen one legend a bit.

Giant Size X-Men: Jean Grey & Emma Frost - Not often can you have a comic with almost no dialogue and pull it off.  I think they did here and sets up an upcoming major conflict me thinks.

Gideon Falls #21 - WHOA!  That cliffhanger at the end of this arc was a mind blower!  It'll be tough waiting until June for the next issue! (Actually comes out in May but I wait a month for the price drop)

Isola #10 - A bit of a reveal here that will affect Rook.  And now I have to wait until "Summer 2020" for the next issue.  Argh!

I'm waiting longer than that. It just isn't enough meat on the bones per issue anymore. It was always a super-fast, yet beautiful read, but I am now dedicating to wait for the completion. My eyes will have to wait to be happy.

I don't blame you.  Fortunately, the story moves slow enough it's easy to follow and remember where you left off.  Still if I weren't already invested this far, I might have waited for the collected version as well.

Five Years Vol 1: Fire in the Sky (Collects issues #1-5)

Issue 1 - Katchoo, Francine, & Motorgirl:  Good start to this series.  Catches us up to where we are in this world through the eyes of Katchoo.  Love the way these characters are written.  And a nice catch up with Sam (Motorgirl) as well.

Issue 2 - Rachel & Zoe:  Man I love seeing the Rachel Rising cast again.  And this issue doesn't disappoint.  I like the spy/thriller type issue!

Issue 3 - Julie & Ivy (from Echo), & Tambi: the start of putting a team together.  Great to see these characters again.  Rachel & Zoe: Continuation of the Russia job as things go from bad to worse to better.  Katchoo & Francine:  Gotta love it when Tambi interrupts these two.  You gotta love it because you know Francine won't!

Issue 4 - Katchoo, Francine, & Tabmi:  Whoa.  Some pretty intense drama.  Terry Moore's still got it when he pulls at the emotions.  Rachel: More story movement in Russia (don't want to spoil it).  I'm expecting some more big action in this storyline pretty soon.

Issue 5 - Zoe:  OMG - that was 10 of the best comic book pages I have ever read.  I love this girl.  Tambi & Cherry Hammer: Short interlude with these two, but impactful.  They need to use names more often as his characters can look a lot alike.  I didn't recognize Cherry Hammer and thought it was Julie from Echo.  Katchoo: And Bang.  The plan is officially kicked off.

Overall - great collection!  Love these characters and this is a fun series to have them all in.  It's got a Mission Impossible vibe with the lovely ladies of this world.  Thumbs way up.
