As usual - I'm busting out of the gate at a rapid pace.  Not sure if I'll keep it up though...

Dreadstar 1 & 2 - Continuing where the graphic novels left off.  Fun seeing it in color too.

Powers of X 3 - Another good one and we're starting to see how the present and future X-Men are connected.

Black Science 41 - First of the last three issues.  I see things coming to a final head.

Bone Parish 9 & 10 - Can't believe this is almost over.  There is so much to be explored here.  Great comic.

Just knocked out a couple yesterday, but one was on the larger size. Nothing compared to Jeff's collected volumes of titles he rips through in a day  Cheesy, but large by my reading standards anyway.
 Wink

History of the Marvel Universe - I really enjoy this. Updated timeline of the 616. The back-matter is cool!
Powers of X #3 - Love the 9th line aspect. Both of these weekly titles are making me love the idea of the X-Men again, if not the team, yet  Grin

With that HotMU back-matter, they go back and show you what issue the thing the discussed happened in, so a good way to track something. I also never knew or completely forgot that the Human Torch (android) fried Hitler. Just blasted the hell outta him. I don't recall that being a thing in the MU, just thought Hitler killed himself like he did in our world.
Or so they say

Dreadstar 3-5 - This brings back my feelings of reading comics in the '80's.  Great Jim Starlin storytelling and fun characters.

The Life and Death of Toyo Harada 5 - Oh man!!  Could it be???
Is Toyo Harada the Bleeding Monk?
Might just have to buy the last issue at full price!!

The Wild Storm 23 & 24 - The end of the series.  It was fun.  Would love to keep exploring this re-imagined world.

 Cheesy Cheesy

I won't say what happened/happens with Toyo, but on that last page, the second to last panel, not about Toyo per se ... leaves me very interested about what is next  Cool is that a good tease?

Loved this mini and will be on my reread list before long

Age of X-Man: Nextgen - Interesting story.  Subconsciously I'm comparing it to the new Hickman story, which isn't fair but hard not to do.

Dead Man Logan 4 - Like the Mysterio and Hawkeye stuff in this one.

Mr. and Mrs. X 8 - Good story even though I hate the Mojoverse.

Marvels Annotated 1 - Reprint of Marvel's #0 & #1.  Was fun to relive it.

Thor 10 - A failed father.  Or so he thinks.  Great story from Odin's point of view.

Winter Soldier 3 - The kid is growing on me.  Thumbs up on this one.

Detective Comics Vol 9: Deface the Face (Collects issues 988-993) - Well that was fun!  And great art too.  A nice little Two-Face story and throw in a couple of Fireflies.  This was an early mention of Leviathan as well even though they weren't in the story.  Thumbs up here.

Looks like I need to add some more comics for the weekend.  Could I actually finish my Backlog Plan???

They way you've been knocking them out, I can't see ya not doing so!!!

I am very jealous, even as I congratulate myself on getting HALFWAY through another issue of Deathstroke, barely scratching the surface of my long list, I congratulate you on getting through that much of your back-catalog. Dang ya!!

Got through these as well.  Sad that Starlin only made the six issues since it was clearly meant to be a longer series.  Would have loved to see where this was going.

Late, again, on this, but was able to knock out a little more than I thought I would. Not quite "Jeff" level  Grin, but a decent go (getting in a bakers dozen)
 Smiley

Guardians of the Galaxy #8 - Honestly, not the best issue, but setting up what will hopefully be a good arc
New X-Men #118
New X-Men #119
- Continuing the Morrison backlog reading. I don't care what anyone says; Morrison can come up with good plots and his dialog is very good and, at times, great, but his pacing is utter shite. Just garbage. Always has been and it really shows here.
 Angry

Batman #74
Batman #75
Batman #76
Batman #77
- Just can't get into this arc. I enjoyed the "dream" one-shots and I know I will like whats coming though
DCeased #3
DCeased #4
- Love this. And I'm not alone as it is getting so much love after issue one that I see DC is starting to have one-shots(?) or story arcs outside of the title. I see there is one coming out next week - A Good Day To Die #1
(truly do wonder if this was a planned thing or they jumped in the idea after issue #1's praise)
And Jeff, yeah, sad stuff.

White Trees #1 - WHOA Chip Zdarsky, WHOA!! WAY too much male alien genitalia here for me!!! I'm out
2000AD #2136 - Looking at what the fellows from across the pond are doing. Thinking about getting more into Judge Dredd so just took a peek-see.
