Bone Parish 5 & 6 - Continues to be good.  The mobs don't know what they are messing with.

Ice Cream Man 9 & 10 - Origin story!  But still doesn't answer many questions.  Which is ok - this is still good.

Martian Manhunter 3 & 4 - Changing up Jonn Jonn'z origin.  Not sure how I feel about that but this is a good series so far.

Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man 2 - What the?!?!?  Now THAT's what you call a surprise cliff hanger!  This feels so much like the Spidey of old.  The very much, I want to keep reading, Spidey of old!

Guardians of the Galaxy 1 - BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!  "Wait. No. No. No. No.  I ain't signin up to be a member of the damn...   GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY"  I take back what I said about this character when this was announced six months ago.  Donny Cates is off to a good start here.

Immortal Hulk 12 - Man this comic book is creepy.  And it just got creepier.

Man Without Fear 4 - Of course it takes the Kingpin to get the heart pumping again.  Next issue is the conclusion.  I'm taking a break from Daredevil after this.  Really lost interest over the past few months.

Uncanny X-Men Annual 1 - Wow - this was really good!  And that's how he came back.  Pretty cool.  Even if this is all going to change it's still nice reading a good X-Men tale.

Warlord of Mars   #29-30 - Wrap up of this arc bringing everyone together.

Warlord of Mars   #31-34 - Start of the new arc tearing everyone apart.  Final arc of the series which ends with issue 35.  I didn't have that one so I added it for next week.  Not surprised this run ended.  The change in artists has been dreadful.  This new/last arc is especially bad.

You got that right!!! I did find out this is only going to be a 12 issue series. I hope that changes ... or not if it ends well.

Ice Cream Man 9 & 10 - Origin story!  But still doesn't answer many questions.  Which is ok - this is still good.

Ha, Yeah, not many answers come to light in this series. Those Spiders though.

Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man 2 - What the?!?!?  Now THAT's what you call a surprise cliff hanger!  This feels so much like the Spidey of old.  The very much, I want to keep reading, Spidey of old!

I don't remember precisely, but I think I know of what you speak. Or at least that is the rumor.
Maybe?

Oh it is a good title for sure.

And I am not going to spoil anything here so let me just say that I think Cates is going to be bringing Marvel Cosmic to the front and center again real soon. I just wish we had a different writer on the FF to maybe join in!!!!
 Angry

EDIT - Dang it, forgot to post what I have read so far ... there is so much  Cheesy

Powers of X #1 - Have to go hit the thread to talk about this

Female Furies #6 - I'm not sure I am happy with this mini or not. I guess so? Kinda fizzled here and there
Deathstroke #4
Deathstroke #5
- Just good stuff. Glad to be able to run through these without waiting for months. I think I got lost with the Red Lion stuff in the first go round, not remembering things from the previous month. This was a lot more clear for my old and addled mind
 Grin

Whew!! That was a lot of comics

Hit Girl Season Two 1 & 2 - Good new arc.  Hit Girl takes on Hollywood.  Nothing but good here.

Kick Ass 13 & 14 - Oh man, the tension is up on this series.  It can't end good for one character.  Mob boss Kick Ass is...well...kick ass!

Lazarus: Risen 1 - Love this series.  Not going to pay $7.99 per issue for it though.  Glad this issue finally got down to a decent price and I'm liking the buildup for this arc.  Of course, with Rucka doing other work this will likely suffer.  It's already become a quarterly comic.

The Wild Storm 19 & 20 - Apollo and Midnighter - the new versions.  Fun battle to watch them in though.  Fun watching the wind down for this series.

Working my way through this Hack/Slash Omnibus.

Hack/Slash Omnibus   Vol. 1
Euthanized - Great introduction to the characters and the "zombie" pets were wild.
Girls Gone Dead - Who doesn't like Spring Break party time?  With Slashers.
Comic Book Carnage - Ha, ha, ha!  Loved that the victims are real people - like Robert Kirkman.   Cheesy
Hack/Slash Vs. Evil Ernie - Didn't like this one as much.  Art wasn't my style and way different than the other stories.

Hack/Slash Omnibus   Vol. 1
The Land of Lost Toys #1–3 - Don't trust your He-Man and Pikachu! Good story.
   Trailers - Funny shorts.
Slashing Through the Snow - Twas the Night b4 Christmas.  And kind of lame actually.
Slice Hard Prequel and Slice Hard - This was good.  Multiple slashers and a makeup company.
Hack/Slash Vs. Chucky - I didn't have high hopes for this since it has "Chucky" in it but I was pleasantly surprised.  It was a nice wrap up to this Omnibus as it brought a lot of characters from all of the other stories together.

Overall - thumbs up for Hack/Slash.

I will have to push the Detective Comics Vol 8 to next week's list coming out tomorrow.  Getting through that Hack/Slash Omnibus was a big enough accomplishment.

And once again, the week just flies by. Hardly anything read, but I have decided to add another past title to my read list each week. Thanks to Hickman hitting me hard with his X stuff, I have decided to go back and read Morrison's New X-Men run. Started to read last night, but passed out before I got more than 4 pages in  Cheesy will get through at least the first issue THIS week
 Smiley
Again, not much at all for this week -

Deathstroke #6
Deathstroke #7
Deathstroke #8
- I still got a little lost at times between Priest showing us things in advance of them actually happening, ya know, setting stuff up for future issues but writing it like it already came to pass and at the same time showing us things that tied into the last run of Deathstroke, stuff he is trying to change (like Wintergreen's death). I'm finally at a point where I see the entire picture, but yeah, the Wintergreen stuff and his wife stuff was kinda confusing for a little bit having never read a Deathstroke comic before.
I'm loving it, don't get me wrong, but I think my overall enjoyment level will be a little higher now that all of the past stuff is done, I can see where he is going with the new and I can concentrate on just reading now, and not deciphering it.
