Got a bit of head start tonight.

House of X/Powers of X Free Previews - Great preview.  Only makes me more excited for tomorrow's release.

Warlord of Mars   #18 - 22 - Man!  John Carter just can't catch a break!  No matter how many times he wins!

Terry Moore's How To Draw Vol 1 - Great book on how to draw like Terry Moore.  Unfortunately, I'm not an artist.

Sheriff of Babylon (2015-2016) Vol. 2: Pow. Pow. Pow. - Wow.  This was...brutal.  Great end to the story but I'm going to feel sick to my stomach for the rest of the night.

Batman 71 & 72 - I'm no longer enjoying this Batman story.  Just trying to make it to the end.  Tom King is officially a "Hit" or "Miss" writer for me now.   Undecided

Bone Parish 3 & 4 - Love this book!  That twist at the end of issue 3 really set things up for the rest of the series.  Thanks for turning me on to this Perry!

Female Furies 4 & 5 - Another great book Perry turned me onto.  Love how this continues to show the events of Jack Kirby's Mister Miracle issues from the viewpoint of the Furies with some updated changes (but still basically the same).  Looking forward to the final issue!

Freedom Fighters 7 - Hitting them out of the park today.  Another fun read from another good series.  Love the evil Plastic Men and the fight the team has with them.  Next issue should be another good one.

Gideon Falls 14 - Six for six.  The end of the historical arc and now we know who has sent our father out to Gideon Falls.  An epic battle is soon coming.

sit's next to Rachel from Rachel Rising in a cafe and they don't even speak.  Just passing in the night.
Just amazing how Terry Moore weave's his worlds.

Justice League Dark 11 - Ok - glad I came back to this title.  I was getting bored with it but I'm back and loving it.  I mean - Mordru!  Yeah - fun!

Justice League Dark 12 - How could I have ever doubted James Tynion?  What a great end to this arc.  I'm all in again.  I can't wait to see what the next issue brings!

========================================

Martian Manhunter 2 - Decent issue continuing with the fallout from last issues cliff hanger.  Riley's art seems to fit here for the most part though sometimes it seems weird.  Overall I'm liking this.

Venom 10 - So Eddie's Dad is an a-hole.  Are we surprised?

Uncanny X-Men 10 - This arc ended a lot better than the past couple of issues would have led me to believe.  I know this all changes with House of X but I don't mind seeing what's going to lead up to it.

Return of Wolverine 4 - This isn't going to be a memorable story, I can tell.  But SOOOOOOO glad the right Wolverine is back!

Marvel Comics Presents 1 - Yea!  More Wolverine!  And a Namor story!  Both set in the 1940's.  Then a Cap story set in ...modern day?  This would have been a perfect comic if they had set Cap back in the 1940's too.  You know, the one that makes the most sense back there?  Anyway, the first two stories were good enough that I'll be back for issue 2.

Man Without Fear 3 - Nice story progression and fun seeing the street level Defenders together again.

Jessica Jones Purple Daughter 1 - Man this is good.  Probably doesn't hurt that I'm in the middle of season 3 on Netflix so I'm reading this in that voice.  And it's written that way too.  Jessica Jones bad ass.  Don't mess with her kid.

Something needs to change. I realize that I am in trouble with both "ways" of my comic reading. For one, I just don't read a lot of comics in a week. Sure there are weeks when I can knock out 13 or 15 or so, but on the norm I may get about 10 comics in a week, give or take.
And that brings me to problem two and three.
- all the books I try to grab to set aside for later ... it is becoming a problem. It is just a list that is getting bigger and bigger. I never seem to get "back to them" as often as I need to. Heck, I still have a huge amount of Gideon Falls and Saga to read, not to mention the image titles I am waiting to end so I can start them over (Like Wicked and the Divine, East of West, Papergirls, etc ...)
- all the new books I am excited to read, again, on average, in a given week is larger than the amount I read. So that just adds to my "I need to read" pile. Hell, there are now books that are suggested to me by others, that were never on my "to read" list in the first place, that are pushing some of the other books I really wanted to read aside. Books like one of my current favorite reads for example (Bone Parish) I had never heard of, or forgot all about at the very least, but after being told to try it, it is another of those that are pushing my reading time away from other books.
Not to even get started on the much older runs I keep trying to get back to. Remember me trying to read Master of Kung-Fu? Batman Tales of the Dark Knight? the most recent one, Legion of Super-Heroes?
I just don't know how you read so much Jeff. How are you doing it? I have to know
 Grin
Do you have a time machine that stops time? Do you actually live in a different dimension where the clock has 18 numbers? Is that it? Do you live in a 36 hour day world?
 Grin

Man, I am struggling over here.  Grin But ya know, I guess that is a good sign. No, a great sign. There are so many good comic out there that I just can't read them all. That is frustrating as hell, but also very, very cool

Anyway, here is what I got so far. Six issues. I still want to try and get to Bone Parish #'s 10 and #11, Criminal #'s 4 and #5, Dark Red #4, Reaver #1 (another book pushed on me) Red Sonja #6 Toyo #5, and Punk Mambo #3 (with #4 hitting this week), and that is JUST the non-big two books I want to try and get to. There are more that I want to read, but I just want to try and get caught up on these ... and I'm not gonna make it because there are still Marvel and DC books I want to try and get to.
 Grin

History of the Marvel Universe #1 - A fine look at ... well, the Marvel U  Cheesy A 6 issue history title.
House of X #1 - Oh so good! So much to take in. So much worth the money!

Action Comics #1013 - Things are going, surprising for Red Cloud  Cheesy and we get a tad more Leviathan!
Justice League Dark #13 - Well, there are making me question the Fate of Fate now!!! Love it!!

Redneck #22 - More Evil stuff ... and no, not that kind. Okay, well, yeah, that kind as well, but ...  Cheesy
A Walk Through Hell #12 - Speaking of evil. Don't know what to say about this second part of the story. I enjoyed it, although I do need to reread the damn thing to get the full impact (I think I missed a little something), but yeah, stuff is ... well, the title became more true to its name than I thought it would. But hey, it's over now, so one less title a month to try and make room for!!

I just plan it in chunks.  For me it helps to put it in a list here and stick to it. My OCD kicks in and I don’t deviate from the list.  If something new comes up, I throw it to the next week and just don’t deviate until I finish what’s there already.

That and I read at the office when I should be working.    Grin Cheesy Cheesy
