Fantastic Four 2 - I was expecting this to suck.  But I liked it!  Maybe it was Perry's plan to bring our expectations so low that we fall in love with this comic?  Lol.  Probably not but I really like seeing the old gang again.

Infinity Wars:  Soldier Supreme 1 -  Undecided  Different.  I would probably like it more if it weren't part of Infinity Wars.  Doesn't really seem necessary for the event and really just a distraction.

Asguardians of the Galaxy 1 & 2 - Lot of stuff to like here.  I originally wasn't interested in reading this but I like Angela so I gave it a shot.  The only thing I don't like is having Throg in this book.  Maybe I'm just getting old.

Agree to disagree on this one. Forced dialog that made no sense when they are fighting this bad guy they are just talking? It is like time stopped, they had a conversation for about 20 minutes and they then said "time on" and went back to the battle. That is just one thing I hated about that issue.

This must be how Jimmy feels about Action Comics.   Cheesy

I do agree this is not the epic return that this should be.

Old Man Logan 47 & 48 - Didn't care for 47.  Issue 48 though was good.  I love the battles between Logan and Maestro.

Journey Into Mystery: The Birth of Krakoa - The origin of Krakoa!  And Nick Fury and Howling Commandos were there.  Not bad.  The art wasn't great but it didn't detract from the story.

Domino 6 - And the first arc is done.  Gail Simone is no longer at her best in story telling but overall it was ok.  Too much "chatty" for what I remember from Domino but nice to see her on a girl power team.

Domino Annual 1 - Quite a few stories in this one from all over Domino's past.  Colossus, Cable, and a few others.  Plus, Domino's cool dog.

This must be how Jimmy feels about Action Comics.   Cheesy

 Cheesy Cheesy Right?

Although I don't hate Slott anywhere near like Jimmy hates Bendis. I will still give Slott props when he is on. It just seems like he is "on" less and less
 Undecided
(and yes, being that this is the FF there is that added hatred for not making their return epic, like you said. I know Slott tried, but damn this is a mess. If you can hang on until issue 7, which will be a shock to me  Grin, the plot does get more interesting. Too bad the dialog, pacing and overall structure is bad, but yeah, it gets more interesting at least
 Undecided

Domino 6 - And the first arc is done.  Gail Simone is no longer at her best in story telling but overall it was ok.

Only four more issues and then the switch to another 5 issue mini - Domino: Hot SHots. Luckily, they brought artist Baldeon along with them for that. His art fits so well on this title.
The artist that is on the new X-Force title now (I forgot his/her name, but MU should have it soon as it is on issue #5) has a similar, cartoony style, though no-where near as good as Baldeon. IMHO

X-Men Gold 36 - Last issue of the series and it's a one shot story to wrap it up.  A good story overall and I'm looking forward to the next chapter of this team.

Multiple Man 4 - I'm so confused.  And yet, still enjoying this.  Multiple multiple men and time travel leaves me needing more alcohol.  I'm expecting to have it all come together next issue.  Or at least to have a fun time being confused.

Mr & Mrs X 3 - Ok now this just got interesting.  Fans of the old LIlandra and Xavier love affair will like this trip into the Shi'ar's world.

Ahhh, expectations are so funny at times
 Cheesy

Or at least to have a fun time being confused.

That is what I got from it Smiley Although I did say I was going to re-read it once it finished, to get an uninterrupted reading experience in the hopes of understanding what I was reading month to month
 Grin
Yeah, I still need to do that.
 Undecided

Not much reading getting done over here either, buddy. More Marvel as I am trying to find a good place to stop reading most of these titles and just save the others for MU.

Amazing Spider-Man #19 - yes it's comicbooky, but yes I'm having fun!!
Asgardians of the Galaxy #6
Asgardians of the Galaxy #7
Asgardians of the Galaxy #8
- I'm done here. It's fine, but not a must read by any means. Even with the tie-in
Invaders #4 - Not even sure why this is called Invaders anymore. Maybe it is just this Namor arc?
Friendly Neighborhood Spidey #5 - One of my favorite comics right now takes a huge drop in enjoyment level this issue because of one very stupid decision by writer Tom Taylor. Basically, Peter learns something very important and instead of saying what Peter would have said, or doing something Peter would have done, he does something totally out of character. Now yes, he returns later to show/do what he should have in the first place and I understand what Taylor was going for by having Peter do the other thing, but Peter would have never done that. Ever.

I've loved reading Multiple Man through these 4 issues. Been a real barn burner for me once I started them! Still really sad that 'our' Jamie still technically died in IvX.

Action Comics 1005 & 1006 - I'm not sure why this didn't hit for me originally but I'm enjoying it now.  Looking forward to the start of this Leviathan arc after all.

Batman 68 - These stories aren't bad but man, I'm ready for this Nightmare arc to be over so we can get to the bottom of this!

Black hammer '45 #1 - Man the art in this one is not to my liking.  This is the setup issue and I like the way it reads but I would enjoy it more if not for the art.  Maybe my eyes will adjust to it in the next issue.

Bloodshot Rising Spirit 4 - Not the best of the series but it brings together some familiar faces to go up against Bloodshot for the first time.  Sets up next issue which should be fun.

Deathstroke 42 - Why does Robin even try?  We all know you can't beat Deathstroke.  More great interactions between Damien and Deathstroke.  Story wraps up in Teen Titans.

Die 4 - Hard to talk about this without spoiling it.  But this issue has a "Wizard of Oz" feel to it.  Little bit of rest before a new battle begins.  Still good.

Matt Kindt, known best for being the writer of some great Valiant books (X-O Manowae, Rai, Ninjak, Bloodshot and Divinity to name a few) does have a particular loose art style, much in the same manner as Jeff Lemire, though Lemire is a tad more pleasing to the eyes. Kindt does most of his art in water color style, I am pretty sure that is how he did his Mind Mgmt. series as well, and so it is a lot more bordering on the abstract.

It does take awhile to get used to, if you ever will, but I know it took me forever it seems. Still not a fav of mine, but I can deal with him a lot better now. But this could be a title that you just can't get through
 Smiley
I'm more bummed that Lemire is not doing the writing himself more than I am the art, but I can see your point on the matter, for sure.

The Green Lantern 6 - End of the arc.  And end of my subscription.  It's not bad but it is so Morrison.  And I'm just not in the mood for him right now.  I'm going to wait and pick these up later once they are collected.

Walking Dead 189 - LOL.  Poor Rick.  Thinks he's found paradise and then....yep.  Business as usual.   Cheesy

I got very little reading in yesterday but I decided to try and catch up on one title and give another title one more shot as I saw one of his older covers and it brought back such happy feels that I started to miss him.

Also ....

Flash 68

... darn it, have to grab Flash Thursday or Friday when I hit the LCS. I Forgot all about it this past week. Not used to looking for that title yet
 Grin

Amazing Spider-Man #19
Asgardians of the Galaxy #6
Asgardians of the Galaxy #7
Asgardians of the Galaxy #8

Invaders #4
Friendly Neighborhood Spidey #5

Savage Sword of Conan #4 - Man this title came around quickly. I guess it was just that 1st issue. Nice!
Uncanny X-Men Annual #1
Uncanny X-Men #11
- This arc starts with an odd feeling as
most of the X-Men are in X-Man's Utopia right now
. Plus seeing these two start to work together? Yeah, odd is the word.  Cheesy
I just don't understand why the double sized issue though. Testing to see how much the fans love X-Men? Sure it is a double sized book, but seeing that freaking $8 on the cover? I know I would have never picked this puppy up. But then again I only WANT to love the X-Men again. Charging $8 to get me to try is not the way to go about it.
 Angry

Hawkman #8 - So yeah, I was Flipping through some back issues last week I came across a copy of John's Hawkman #3 (with those Elephants attacking ole' Hawky on the cover) and it just reminded me of the fun that I used to have with that comic. Heck I remember that time being a time when Jimmy and I had a lot of the same titles we found reading enjoyment in  Grin, and that was certainly one of them. Got me thinking, so I decided to try one more time with this title.
A decent go. Did blow me away finding out that Hawkman
was once a Kryptonian,
so I may just have to go back and see if I can find issue #7 to see more. I think I stopped reading around issue 4 or 5 so maybe I need issue #6 as well? I don't know, I guess here is a fine place to start, but maybe.
