Infinity Gauntlet 3
Infinity Gauntlet 4
Infinity Gauntlet 5
Infinity Gauntlet 6
Criminal Vol 6: The Last of the Innocents

-------------------------------------------------------
Astonishing X-Men Annual 1 - I hate the way writers today try to make Xavier out to be a jerk just because he used to be in charge.  Ugh.  That said, this was still a good story.  Nice seeing the original X-Men back together - if only we could get Cyclops back.....

Mr. and Mrs. X 2 - Now this was way funnier than issue 1.  I liked it.  I'm staying on board for awhile.

Old Man Logan 46 - Gotta love a new arc with Logan and Alpha Flight!

X-Men Gold 34 - Storm centric arc moving along.  Fun to read stuff with Storm and Kitty in it.

Hunt for Wolverine: Mystery in Madripoor 4 - Man this art was terrible.  Story wasn't that great either.  And now...
Psylocke is back in her original British body?  No more Ninja girl?  Boo.

Old Man Hawkeye 8 - And yet ANOTHER great issue!  Love this series.  And next issue looks to be even better.

Flash 65 - That was just an ok crossover.  Didn't need to be a crossover at all IMO.  Would have been just fine as a Batman arc with Flash as a guest.  The "Holier than thou" speeches are getting tiresome in the current comic book universes.  Everything is always "Batman's fault".  No, it really isn't.  Lazy writing is where the blame goes.

Freedom Fighters 3 - Family Hitler.  Kind of funny.  Still a good book.

Heroes in Crisis 6 - Not liking where this is pointing to as the killer.   Angry

Swamp Thing Winter Special (2018) - Now this was cool.  GREAT story even though a little predictable.  Art was great too.  Lots of thumbs up on this special.

Hit Girl 11 & 12 - There must be something wrong with me.  Because I LOVE Hit Girl!  She is awesome.

Man, another slow ass week for me.
Titles are just steadily piling up again with no end in sight
 Embarrassed

I am weeks/months behind on so many titles I want to stay current on like Die!Die!Die!, Criminal, Deathstroke, Super Sons, Black Panther, Uncanny, not to mention the new ones I wanted to start like Chip Zdarsky's Daredevil and Avengers No Road Home
 Angry

Still want to read older LoSH, MoKF, 4, and tons of other acronyms and numbers
 Grin

Oh, well, there is always next month
 Undecided

4 days in and this is all I have read?
Pathetic

Justice League Dark #8 (from two weeks ago, I think  Angry) Getting better each issue ... again  Grin

Friendly N.hood Spider-Man #3 - I have never read a better Tom Taylor book. Seriously. This is his best book and its also right up there with the best of the Spidey runs for me. Really good, classic style Spidey.

Now I just have to get some more reading in

Got a good run in today -

Justice League Dark #8
Action Comics #8 - Yep, still a good book for me.
Aquaman #45 - Hmmm, does DC (or Aquaman) need more "Gods"? That said, pretty interesting.
Green Lantern #4 - The pacing has been much better, but this is still not feeling like a Hal book. I'm done
Batman #65
Flash #65
- This is going to sound odd, but not a good Batman story, but a decent Flash one? What? Yeah, doesn't make sense, but even though these two issues were part 3 and 4 of the crossover, the way Bats was written was not that great for me, but Williamson wrote the Flash the best I have seen he ever has. Maybe I try Flash again?

Friendly N.hood Spider-Man #3
X-Force #3 - Brisson is doing a fine job here, I just need to cut this for sanity. Worth a try though, guys!
Marvel Knights 20th #6 - An okay mini. I don't want to spoil what happened but I liked the how and why of it.

I keep thinking the same thing.  This Trickster arc actually looks interesting.

Banging a couple more out before watching Doom Patrol on DCU -

Justice League Dark #8
Action Comics #8
Aquaman #45
Green Lantern #4
Batman #65
Flash #65

Freedom Fighters #3 - I do like this, honestly, but it seems fragmented a tad. Not smooth. Still good
Justice League #18 - Nope. Just like I thought, I'm done ... again.
Detective Comics #999 - Was surprised that this issue had an ending. I thought this story was going to lead into issue #1000. Nice story though. Well, not "nice" but a good one, if a little less than spectacular ending.
(Flipped through Shazam #3 ... just can't do it, put it right back on the shelf with all the other countless copies)

Friendly N.hood Spider-Man #3
X-Force #3
Marvel Knights 20th #6

Alien 3 (Gibson's Script) #3 - I would like to have seen this movie.
Black Hammer: AoD #8 - How did I not see this issue until now? I need to start stacking my stack myself  Angry Anyway, lell now, looks like we are getting a nice reset, well, no, not a reaset but ... yeah, something like that. And love the Martian names in this issue -
Dan Danz, Pam Pamz, Mark Markz ...  Grin

Also came home with a couple "off the cuff reads" that I hope to get to before Wednesday -
Valiant's new mini Forgotten Queen as I was told it was similar to Conan.
Image Comics - Scottie Young's Middlewest 1-4 and Ice Cream Man ... again ... issues 9 and 10
And heck, grabbed up "Star Trek the Q Conflict" because Jeff said it was good. Or he said one of the Trek stories was good. I hope this is the one he was talking about  Cheesy Cheesy I don't remember  Cheesy but it is the newest one with only two issue out so far so I took a chance.

Well, uh no, that wasn't it but I'm sure it's great!   Cheesy

You can't go wrong with Q, right?

I picked up the Next Gen mini with the Mirror Universe Picard and crew - Star Trek: TNG: Mirror Broken.  Then I picked up the "sequel" Terra Incognita which picks up where Mirror Broken left off.

Death Orb 1-5 - Not bad.  Another dystopian future.  Hero trying to save his family.  Religious nut is the villain.  Pretty standard for this type of story.  The characters are interesting and it's worth a read.  But only if you finish off the other things you want to read first.

I hope not

Ahhhh, I think I saw the Mirror Broken trade, but not the Terra one ... I think that one just finished though. Maybe the trade is out and I didn't see it. I will check next time

Death Orb 1-5 .... worth a read.  But only if you finish off the other things you want to read first.

So for me, just don't bother as it seems I am never catching up on the things I want to read?

Glad it wasn't a waste of time though

Terra Incognita just finished last month.  Mirror Broken is the better of the two but I enjoyed both.

Detective Comics #999 - Was surprised that this issue had an ending. I thought this story was going to lead into issue #1000. Nice story though. Well, not "nice" but a good one, if a little less than spectacular ending.

So what I'm hearing is that I don't need to buy this arc after all as it doesn't really lead up to issue #1000?

But I should go ahead and get it because it's good?

Just clarifying as it's in my wish list but I haven't pulled the trigger yet.   Grin

I don't want to say I am 100% sure they are not going to go back and tie into the last 5 or 6 issues, but I highly doubt they will. This past arc was an arc that has a definitive beginning and ending to it and should not be involved with issue #1000 at all. Not needed. Totally skip-able

But I should go ahead and get it because it's good?

It was good, at least the first two or three issues were, but I am not sure the ending justified the entire thing. Let me say this, I did enjoy it,thought it was "kind of" cool even, but I wouldn't have suffered not reading it. And it is an arc that would probably not stand on its own as a trade. Could they trade it? Yeah, sure. But I don't think it would sell too highly. But again, it is good, just not THAT good. For me. Tough call. Your mileage may vary
  Grin
I would say skip it, honestly. Easier for me just to tell you what happened. A lot cheaper too. Hahaha, let me know if you want to know and I will spill
