JLA Another Nail - well the Legion appearance was just that; a one page appearance.  And it was only Ultraboy and Princess Projectra.  But fun to see them in their old costumes from the 70's and 80's.  This whole JLA story is a different reality version.  One that resembles the JLA of my childhood complete with JLA Satelite HQ and Zatanna in her 70's costume.  Actually was a lot of fun to read!

I quite liked The Nail books. Book 2 wasn't as fascinating to me, but Alan Davis art at it's finest! And the classic fun costumes!

I may have to check out the other ones then.  I love seeing my classic clothed heroes in new stories.  Reminds me how much fun they used to be!

Wait I'm confused (also sick, and tired) did you read Another Nail before The Nail? As far as I know these are the only 2 volumes of work on this.

You are correct.  I read Another Nail because it showed up when I searched for Legion of Super-Heroes on DCUniverse.

Grant Morrison's 18 Days TPB - So I didn't actually read this.  It's written in script form; describing landscape and character dialogue.  Wasn't really for me.  I may go back and read it BUT the real thing here, IMO - this is for an art lover.  The two page splash pages are amazing.  I get it - the script form is there so as not to interfere with the art.  You don't want word bubbles cluttering this up.

Here's some examples:

The whole book is painted like these.  Worth a look for the art alone.  Thumbs up.

Yeah, it is pretty, but I had no interest in it.
It is a thing he did for an indian/Hindu comic (if I remember right) and the way it was described was something I was just not into.
I'm not drooling over a lot of Morrison's stuff like a lot of people anyway, more my lazy ass brain than anything, and this fell into that category of "no thank you" for me.

Green Lantern 4 - I'm not really feeling it with this title yet.  I'll give it a couple more issues but I may drop it.

Low 20 - It's been so long since an issue came out that I was really confused at the begining.  By the end though, I figured out where we are at and I like the premise for the final arc.  Should be interesting.

Oblivion Song 11 - I'm starting to lose interest here too.  The art really doesn't help.

Prodigy 2 - This got a little dark.  These bad guys are the kind of men it will be a pleasure to watch die.

I read very little this week.
 Undecided

Age of X-Man: NextGen #1 - A nice read about the other, younger X peeps.
Age of X-Man: Marvelous X-Men #1 - an okay issue. Nothing grand, but not bad
Thor #2
Thor #3
Thor #4
- All I can say is, in the same way Mcguinness art kills my Avengers enjoyment level, Del Mundo's art is just killing my mood for this title. I so want to enjoy the writing that I know is enjoyable, if I can just convince my eyes to drudge through this art. This art that just doesn't belong on this title. I like Del Mundo, I do, but NOT on Thor or any other main Marvel title. NO! At least we get the return of that King Wolverine story that started a few issues back next. A good break from this art.

Quantum age 6 - This came out a week or so ago!!! What?!?! And sadly, it was just okay  Cry maybe because...
Magic Order 6 - I read this one first!!! Holy hell what a great 6 issue mini!!!! This was non-stop goodness from issue to issue and I am definitely going to sit down and read it once again not that it is completed. An amazing run from another of my "hit or miss" writers. Mann did he hit here. Holy cow do I love this.
