 Shocked Shocked Shocked

Okay, this is about as far stretched as you can get, but it is possible, if things fall the right/wrong way, that Disney could, maybe, perhaps end up owning DC Comics as well as Marvel.

Talk about breaking the internet in half !!!!

 Grin Cheesy

I don't see this happening, but hey, who thought 10 years ago that Disney would own Marvel and Star Wars too?

HERE is a brief mention of the possibility.

Oh rumors, you are so delicious!

But that's too many properties to be owned by one conglomerate! Shocked

Could you imagine DC movies with the power of Disney behind them?  We could finally get the DC Cinematic Universe we deserve!

Sorry for the pro wrestling reference...

When ECW went out of business, then WCW was bought out by the WWF/E, it was terrible for the whole pro wrestling business. That was 2001 and it only now seems to be recovering, at least on an indie level.

Less competition and less places to work would be bad for both fans and comic staff alike.

Less competition is NEVER a good thing. Except of course to the stockholders of the company in question  Cheesy
