Wife of Stan Lee past away yesterday.

Man, they were together forever and honestly without her, there would've been no Marvel.

Sure Stan gets more credit than Kirby by the non-informed, like all of us old guys were for so long. Growing up with Stan being so front and center ... he was THE Marvel image for us. And I am not trying to now pile on and say Stan was nothing because, of course, that is simply not true, but yeah, much like Kirby, without Joan and her telling Stan to stay when he was ready to walk out, there would never have been the rip off of Kirby's other creation Challengers of the Unknown ... the Fantastic Four.
 Cheesy

Thanks Joan. For my childhood, thanks

She was 93.  Man what a full life these two have had.  Hope the Mrs and I can have the same.

Rest In Peace, Mrs Lee.

Not to be morbid but when two people spend this much of their lives together it's not uncommon for the spouse to pass soon after.  Hope that's not the case but I'm bracing for it.   Cry

“If I could go back in time and like tell 11 year old me that like not only do you get to go to Comic Con but you go every year.  So much so that you get greeted by Stan Lee when you show up.  And 11 year old me would be like - How did we get so fat?”- Kevin Smith

My only and first thought is that The Man is gone within a year...maybe even THIS calendar year...
