Man, I have no idea what I plan on reading. Hospital down time (when the kid is asleep), while nice is also a time to talk to the wife and get things straight around the house, which we have ignored the last week ... of course. I am kinda reading by individual pull right now. Whatever the mood is at the time that I am given time to read.
 Grin

Been catching up on all the DC stuff, so would like to hit Flash issues 1 and 2 as I still have those to read. Plus as I am not sure I will hit my LCS or see Dave, not sure what I will get to read anyway. Would love to read the I Hate Fairyland issue that hits today and the new Jeff Lemire Black Hammer (like a weird Justice League and it looks awesome), and of course Ultimates #9, but we will see.

Yes, I kinda turned this thread into my Top of the Stack thread. Hahaha, sorry about that.

Amazing Spider-man 1-5
EDIT #1
Mighty Thor 2 & 3
EDIT #2
Invincible Iron Man #4
EDIT #3
Spider-man 2099 1-5
-Not a fan of the new suit. Rick Leonardi's design was a wonderful, brilliant take on the Spider-man costume. This ugly Under Armour/Nike Oregon Ducks shitty looking junior high design has got to go. I don't like it one bit. And I thought Sliney's art was far better in the other volume! A different inker, perhaps?

Dark Night: A True Batman Story

Okay, only about halfway through this, but read as much as I could in bed before that darn Sandman came in and dusted me.  Cheesy

I'm really enjoying this.

Truly some amazing art. Risso's angles and point of view scenes are perfection ... and I am not a huge Risso fan. He also does the coloring and that ranges from pretty good to impressive. A little too Crayola at times, but it works here and I think that is why he chose to have it look this way. I have a much greater respect for Risso now. This book does look nice.

Dini's writing is personal, but jovial (understandably so) and while I wonder if James Robinson's quasi-introspective AIRBOY title helped this book become a reality, I am grateful for this. If Dini had this idea prior or if he was drawn into doing it ... that doesn't matter. The fact he did this is enough. This is a book worth reading, though I say that having not yet completed the task of reading it all.
 Cheesy
While I wouldn't suggest rushing out to the LCS and paying full price (you have to be in a certain mood for this, I think), this book is only $13 at INSTOCK Go ahead and add it to your cart. Have it be one of the books that gets you to that $50 free shipping.

Happy to hear this.  I've been meaning to get this and then forgot to look for it when it came out.
