Queuing up for next week ...

Batman #41

Darth Vader #6
Kanan Last Padawan #3
Princess Leia #4 (of 5)
Star Wars #6

Justice Inc Avenger #1 (I Byrne stole (read) this in the LCS ... Wow, that was some rough art. Can't honestly suggest this one. Art so distracting it almost ruined a Waid script. Just not very good)

Justice Inc Avenger 1 - only because if I didn't I'd have to endure a daily beating from Perry.   Grin

Damn. Sorry I didn't catch in time.  Angry Embarrassed I hope you enjoy it more than I did. May not continue with this in digital ... maybe (Damn I love this character though)  Undecided

Earth 2 Society 1 - this is a big MAYBE - I'm gonna flip through it first.

Let me know how this is, if you would. Batman Beyond #1 didn't really hit me like I was hoping, so if this good (better than I thought it could be) than I may slide over to it.

 Cheesy Cheesy

I would, the damn @#$@#%% costs me more money every passing week. Screw him!!!

 Cheesy

But really ... come on in, the waters fine!!!! (dude, seriously, this event just rocks all sorts of ass!!!)

I think you will like the Inhuman one. I loved it (Sand Hulks, dude. Freakin' SAND HULKS!!!) and Plaent Hulk was also very cool seeing Cap and Devil are a great team  Grin

I got ....
Constantine The Hellblazer #1

Loved this book, Jimmy. They totally pushed Constantine back to near Vertigo days. He is back to being an ass, bastard like he should be and I was not only impressed with the writing (and the way in which he nailed this character), but also the art by Riley Rossmo (who Jeff will remember from one of our old favs; Proof) has gotten a lot cleaner, so that was nice to see.

Also kudos to DC for allowing this comic to be so ... adult oriented. I was really worried about this book when I first got it, but man, DC let this book fly!!!!!

On my pull without question.

Speaking of question ... I'm kinda getting perked up about maybe ... perhaps ... looking into ... thinking of trying that Justice League 3001. Was the previous 3000 pretty good? I know you got at least a few issues so thought I would ask. Hopefully your answer can save me money.
 Cheesy Cheesy

EDIT - Also ... if anyone of you has the balls to try that new Catwoman, let me know.  Grin Hearing it may be a great new start, but my butt is too a'scared to try on my own. If one of you would perhaps take the first leap however ....

I would say your going to get mixed review on Justice League 3000.  I tried the first few issues and dropped it.  Can't remember exactly why.  Jimmy on the other hand likes it.

Oh sure, leave it up to me!
 Grin

Thanks, Jeff

EDIT - Well it looks like you were not wrong in your feelings, Jeff. According to my handy, dandy review site that I make use of, it appears that the JL3000 did take some time to find its legs, but settled into favorable reviews afterwards (shown HERE).

Not sure what to think now. Kinda want to read the 3000 before I try the 3001, but ....

I really enjoy JL 3000 for the different takes on the JL'ers...while it's still the same people...but different! (does that make sense? Wink

It's Giffen unfettered by continuity, or by what people care or say the story or characters should be like. When I came on around issue 8, I started to really dig watching these people kind of like themselves, kind of hate themselves, kind of hate what their lot in life is, but be damned if they weren't going to do something about it.

And with the last 6 issues of JL 3000, every ending was a bit of a "bwhahaha!' moment with at "WTF!" moment too.

That's why I like it. Smiley

Well, maybe I will take a sneak peek ... around issue 9 or so ... (avoiding the early issues at first until I see how this hits me)
