Well, just set my DVR to record two solid days of the Doctor. Jeff, it looks like BBCAmerica is starting to show the episodes you need starting at 6 AM Eastern time on Saturday, if you are planning to catch up live. Or hurry to catch up before they air the new show at 2:50 on Saturday!!!!
Looks like all the fun starts Monday the 18th, when they have the Doctor Who Revisited Marathon (9:00 AM Eastern Time), highlighting all the past doctors and starting with Hartnell back from 1963.
Then the entire Eccleston run on Tuesday, starting at 9:00 AM (again, Eastern Time). May skip this one as I never enjoyed the Eccleston stories, even though they are very important to the story, and I am glad I did see them. They just had a little too much cheese for me.
Then, that night at midnight (or Wednesday morning in reality) They show one of the best Whos ever, BLINK. The first Angels. Sadly, that is where they continue the countdown of Doctor Who shows, by-passing all of season two (some of David Tennants best stuff) and starting there at BLINK which is season 3, episode 10.
But from that point on, barring some BBC News inbetween, it is a continuous run of the Doctor.
Hope you guys watch what you can!!!
Remember, the new episode "THE DAY OF THE DOCTOR" is this Saturday, the 23rd, at 2:50 in the afternoon. Simulcast with BBC so we get it at the same time as our pals across the water!!!
If you have never tried Who or tried and just don't like it, at least record that BLINK episode. If that doesn't get ya hooked, then yeah, you're just never gonna be a fan.
