Damnit. Ya got me thinking about too much  Grin Decided to have a first run through, sans order form ...

BATMAN #24
SUPERMAN UNCHAINED #4

F4 #13
FF #13 (Ordered 4-12 a couple days ago, and got 1-3 off Ebay)
THOR GOD of THUNDER #14
THOR CROWN of FOOLS  (maybe)

BLOODSHOT and H.A.R.D. CORPS #15
HARBINGER #17

LAZARUS Vol1 TPB

I think that is what my order will end up being. Of course I may throw a special title or two in as they do temp me sometimes. Like last months GUARDING THE GLOBE #4 for only 70’ I mean what the hell? Why not.

Ouch. BATMAN #24 is $6.99 (or $4.19 for us DCBS'ers), That better not be just 20 pages of story and then 2 reprint issues from 1968 or something.
 Angry

And WTF Marvel? You solicit this? - INDESTRUCTIBLE HULK SPECIAL #1
Written, Drawn and Covers by ... wait for it .... TO BE DECIDED ??
 Roll Eyes

EDIT - I see WALKING DEAD has about 10 different covers this month.

Very proud of myself. For now. I was able to avoid adding about 5 more titles to my pull this month. Like that new JUSTICE LEAGUE 3000 by Keith Giffen, J. M. DeMatteis and Kevin Maguire. Really wanted to add that. Also that new series from Brubaker and Epting VELVET.
Staying strong.
 Grin

My order ...

PRVIEWS (So I can more easily spot HC's I want)

BATMAN #24
SUPERMAN UNCHAINED #4

F4 #13
FF #13

THOR GOD of THUNDER #14

BLOODSHOT and H.A.R.D. CORPS #15
HARBINGER #17

LAZARUS Vol1 TPB

Next month gonna try and cut another title or two. It's getting harder and harder every month. Dropping titles I already get is one thing, but avoiding new titles I really want to try, is really F'n hard. But I know the end result, buying only HC's and the occasional trade, will make me very happy ... if I can get there.

Ok - here's what I actually ordered.  I don't know whether to curse Perry or thank him.  I missed Velvet and Justice League 3000 on my first pass and likely would have skipped them if he hadn't pointed out the creative teams.  Decided against Fantomex MAX and the Damian Batman mini series.

DC Comics
BATMAN #24  I love how DCBS had a big message saying "NOTE PRICE" on this one.   Grin
FOREVER EVIL #2 (OF 7)
JUSTICE LEAGUE 3000 #1 - I'll blame Perry if I hate it.....and if I love it too.   Grin

Image
FATALE #19 (MR)
JUPITERS LEGACY #4 - BUY THIS BOOK!!!  I really like it.
MORNING GLORIES #33 (MR)
MORNING GLORIES #34 (MR)
SIDEKICK #3 (MR) - I'm hoping this is good.  J Michael Straczynski had typically done well with his original creations.
VELVET #1 (MR) - I'll blame Perry if I hate it.....and if I love it too.   Grin
WALKING DEAD #115 CVR A (MR)
WALKING DEAD TYREESE SPECIAL (MR)

Marvel
CABLE AND X-FORCE #15
KICK-ASS 3 #5 (OF 8 ) (MR)
THOR GOD OF THUNDER #14

"INFINITY"
GUARDIANS OF GALAXY #8 INF
INFINITY #4 (OF 6)
INFINITY #5 (OF 6)
NEW AVENGERS #11 INF
NOVA #9 INF

"BATTLE OF THE ATOM"
ALL NEW X-MEN #17
UNCANNY X-MEN #13
WOLVERINE AND X-MEN #37
X-MEN #6
X-MEN BATTLE OF ATOM #2 (OF 2)

Valiant
HARBINGER (VU) #17
X-O MANOWAR (VU) #18 REG CRAIN

I don't know whether to curse Perry or thank him.

A little of both probably.  Grin

Decided against Fantomex MAX and the Damian Batman mini series.

Both were also hard for me to ignore. Really interested in Fantomex as a character, although I don't know why ... maybe just the look? And was also intrigued to see what Kubert could do, script wise

BATMAN #24  I love how DCBS had a big message saying "NOTE PRICE" on this one.   Grin

Yeah, still shocked at that price point

JUPITERS LEGACY #4 - BUY THIS BOOK!!!  I really like it.

Oh yeah, on it. In trade (But I shall wait for HC first)

SIDEKICK #3 (MR) - I'm hoping this is good.  J Michael Straczynski had typically done well with his original creations.

Did you miss his 10 GRAND that premiered from IMAGE a couple months ago? I read it. I liked the first two issues. But it has art by Ben Templesmith which I like and it fits the tone perfectly, but a lot of people don't enjoy his art, which could be why you skipped it.

Well to elevate some of that blame ... you may want to check out THIS
Situation may not be what it seems, but for now, I am NOT regretting my decision not to add this title. This could be yet another straw in DC's ever growing pile laid heavily on the back of that poor camel.

Good news.  Kevin Maguire got hired at Marvel. He's doing Guardians of the Galaxy #10.

Yep, still waiting on my boy Dave to get back to me ... see if he is getting GOTG so I can read the issue  Grin

Hopefully it will lead to more work at Marvel. DC seems to, once again, not recognize a good creator when they have them.
